Be aware that the only Bathroom is an En-suite in the Master Bedroom.

The apartment is in a great location, it's close enough to everything in Valletta but also down a side street away from the hustle and bustle.
The apartment is very tired. There's touched up marks everywhere, the shower leaks, the Aircon/heating unit didn't work (it had an error), the kettle didn't work, the pillows are awful, there's no mirrors apart from one in the bathroom. It would be nice to be able to do your hair in front of a mirror with a plug socket. There needs to be curtains across all windows as there is a huge balcony window with nothing on at all. Hot water runs out after a 5 minute shower, so for a family of 4 you all have to shower at different times of the day. The lift also doesn't work so lugging cases up the tight staircase is hard with kids.
The apartment owner/company do not answer the telephone number they give you in the welcome pack at all. We had to contact hotels.com to try and sort out our issues. We also had someone trying to get into our apart one evening as they had booked elsewhere but had been given our apartment number for their booking.

Wrong codes at check-in and the system is extremely unintuitive, despite me being a computer scientist with a PhD and loads of experience with automated check-in systems. Waited outside for 30 minutes to get into the property. Phone number did not work and they don’t call you even when you insist. Only contact is via chat. Very dusty and overall was not cleaned. Hot water ran out after 1 min so was not able to shower. View was very nice but the property is falling apart with no maintenance.

Appartment was a great size and and was well stocked. The Air Conditioner only cooled the Living Room and there were no vents in the bedrooms, although there were portable units in the bedrooms the owner refused to provide the remotes, rooms eventually cooled to an acceptable temperature on our 3rd night :( They did provide fans which helped but this should not have even been an issue. Elevator does not work at the time of our stay, made for an interesting climb up narrow stairs with suitcases. Major construction outside the windows, lots of power tools and banging early in the mornings, not the properties fault. The Apartment was well stocked and beds are comfortable, there is a washer and dryer combo which is a nice touch.

Nice apartment that was perfect for our needs. The only drawback was the major construction that was underway in the plaza across the street with the noise of heavy equipment being quite disruptive while trying to relax on vacation. We were there for 2 weeks and the construction lasted all day each weekday. It appeared they had at least another 2 to 3 weeks of roadwork ahead. I was told that the property managers have no control over the construction (and don’t disagree) but it would have been good to know in advance and had the option to look for alternative arrangements.

The pre communication with the property went well. It is a fairly short drive from the airport. We loved the location in Valletta. It’s such a cozy community with a lot of charm. We would definitely recommend the apartment. The only two things we didn’t like was the fact we were on the top floor and there was no elevator. So, it’s 71 steps to the top. The other thing was, there was only a hot water kettle and not a coffee maker like stated. We do wish they had some bathroom soaps and shampoo to last us the stay.
