Beautiful location! So secluded and peaceful. Eveything was immacualte and exactly as described. Comfy bed, hot shower, washing machine, gas stove, full size fridge and freezer, beautiful patio. Would absolutely stay again without a doubt.

Blue Whale Villa was a great place to stay, our only downsides were that it is a bit far from things on the island, but we were alright with the drive and happy with the place. There was also just a very lightly stocked kitchen, and a few more bowls, or cooking utensils would be nice. Otherwise the stay was great! We stayed here for two weeks and never had complaints about the whole island! I would recommend renting a car if you have multiple days here and want to go to the stuff to the south, as I’m sure a taxi will cost a bit. We had plenty to do on the north end of the island for about 3 days and also spent a couple days just relaxing at the house and it was perfect for that. It felt very safe and the view was spectacular especially if you are willing to wake up around 5:30 for the sunrise!

All I can say is, WOW! I wish we had booked this stay for longer during our trip instead of “roughing it” at other stays. On an island with little amenities, we felt SO comfortable and right at home. Every corner of the house was decorated BEAUTIFULLY. The kitchen was very well equipped, new, and the knives, utensils, and dishes were nicer than I have at home. The house was spotless and having fully screened windows and doors were such a treat to be able to open and let the breeze through without worrying about biting bugs getting inside. The view was absolutely breathtaking (the pictures do not do it justice), and to be able to sit on the covered private patio in the hot tub with a glass of wine looking over the ocean and private island across the bay was so wonderful in the evenings. There was a brand new huge grill on the patio as well, but we didn’t have a chance to grill. It was a short walk down to the beach where we snorkeled across the bay to explore the private island, and the reef on that side was super cool - totally recommend doing so during your stay! A short drive away (or walk, if you wish) there is access to more beautiful beaches such as the black sand (amazing) at Red Rocks, or the secluded beach at the abandoned Escape Dominica Hotel. While there were power and water outages, we had no problem because of the generator and water pump. I wish I had more characters to type because I can go on and on! Nick was SO nice, helpful, and available! We will be back!!!
