This was not the hotel experience we had hoped for. When we arrived there were boxes (new bed frames) stacked in the entryway and plexiglass completely surrounding the check-in desk. We couldnt hear a word the clerk was saying. Then she popped a $50 security deposit on us, on top of out nightly room fee. When we walked into our room we immediately noticed a roach crawling on the nightstand. So my husband requested a new room, which they gave us just on the other side of the hallway. This room seemed fine until you looked at the wall length mirror over the beds that looked to have a hole (assumption: from a bullet) and something splattered above the bed on the ceiling. Least of our concerns but still disappointing were the pillows, lack of any comforters and the burning smell from the GFI in the bathroom when you plugged anything in.

The lobby looks like a storage room instead of a lobby. The people who work in the reception are in a cage window. The breakfast offered very poor and there are not tables or chairs to have your coffee. You have to take it to your room, because the lobby and breakfast aria are used for storing. I need one bed but I have 2 beds in the room, makes the room very crowded. The mattresses was old you can feel the springs. Was advised on check-in to pay the deposit in cash for quick return. On the morning of my checkout, the receptionist went to the room to check if everything is in order before the refund of the deposit. Took longer to return. My taxi arrived and left without it. We talked over the phone on my way to the airport and told her to put it on my card since they have my card information, but was told to pick it up in person.

This is a decent, basic, no frills place, that was fine for our purpose. It was clean and had a small fridge and microwave, but no coffee pot or hairdryer. No place to sit for the breakfast offered, which was extremely minimal, but overall was fine for a quick overnight stay!

Stay away!! I never leave reviews but I need to warn others! Terrible area...im so thankful our car was there in mornings when we woke up! Room was disgusting floors havent been vacuumed in atleast a month and i wish i was exaggerating! AC cycled on and off every 10 minutes and was told nothing could be done and then cherry on top was a family above was stomping and jumping until 2am! When i told lady downstairs she said she would call and let them know they had noise complaint....only to find out she definitely knew them cause she called on spot from her personal phone and acted like she was talking to her friend! Brekfast? HA basically white bread and mini muffins just sitting on a plate out in the open! THANK GOD we only needed to stay one night but that was still to long! YOUVE BEEN WARNED!

The back of the place was a dumpster (my room was facing that side) the girl at the front desk was rude when I tried to check in and when it was time to check out no one came to the desk, they had a phone number on a piece of paper taped to the window so I called and I was told it was ok to leave, so I wasn't even sure I was properly checked out.

The women at the front desk was amazing! But sadly there is no breakfast provided, thank goodness ihop and waffle house are not to far from this location. We got a non smoking room but the room smelled like smoke and there were things splattered all over the walls and burn marks from smoking in the tub and other areas

This hotel was reserved Oct. 2017 and was not open for vacancy when I attempted to check in May 3 - May 7. And wasn't informed by Expedia nor the hotel of this issue at all. This really ruined my plans and I would like something to be done to fix this matter.

Horrible. I paid for a room in a hotel that was under renovation and was not made aware that I would not be able to stay. I found out they were closed when I read the sign on the front of the door at 10 pm after a 3 hour drive.

This Motel was closed on my arrival. Expedia had sent me multiple reminder messages about my booking and even telling me that there was no need to contact the facility. It was a local event weekend so piratically no other room where available- esp at a decent rate. My wife contacted Expedia and was promised to be refunded within 24 hour- 48 hours later - nothing. I will never use Expedia.com again!

Got to the motel I had reserved for 4/6/2018 about 3:34 pm and their was a sign on the door saying closed for remolding. I had to cut my trip short and return home. I missed a day at the Charlotte Auto Fair.

The down to earth staff have big hearts.the facilities are wanting and renovation(s) pending. Do not consider some of the rooms right now if you have issues with mold (hall carpet due to a flood) room was non smoking but smelled heavily of tobacco smoke. Got a great deal for pretty clean room with great heating, breakfast, cable tv- close to towns.

We had stayed at one of your hotels in Chattanooga and it was a good value and comfortable.This one is under a lot construction and smelled of cigarettes.They were out of ice as well.The staff was friendly but had no markings or name tags.No phone or hair dryer in the room either

Your front desk agents were awesome. You did not have the tub towels. Most important feature for me was the business center you have listed on all your websites. You don't have a business center and this feature is the reason I paid on line for a room. I could not access or deliver needed business documents because there was no business center. False advertisement

The hotel lobby was completely torn up with huge cracks in the concrete floor. The ceilings had leaks in our hallway with buckets sitting around. The staff was nice and extremely helpful though!!! They tracked down a refrigerator for our room which was a huge help because we were in town for my son's golf tournament for 4 days. The continental breakfast was below average but ok. I had hard boiled eggs and lunchmeat in our frig so I used one of their bagels and made a ham, egg and cheese open faced bagel each morning. The juice machine was out of order the first day but working the next day and the ice machine was our of order the entire stay which would have been useful for our sporting event. They seemed to have a towel shortage. No bath mat was given until I asked for one which I got after 2 days. No hand towels ever and only 2 towels which I used one as a bath mat till I received it. Then when I asked for more towels they had to check other rooms. In the morning I received 2 more towels which looked more like rags but they did the job. Plus, they were out of conditioner (but plenty of shampoo.) I purchased my own conditioner to use during my stay.

This hotel was horrible. they have severe water damage that's been damaged since January. The whole place has mildew and mold everywhere. there's no flooring in the front office and the carpet is wet on the first floor. it was just horrible.

Our only complaint was that from our reservation we were lede to believe that the rooms all had cofee makers and a small refrigerator. We were told that that only applied to the larger rooms. Minor problem - we made do with an ice chest for our stay.

We tried a new hotel chain instead of the usual one when visiting family. We visited a Microtel in our home town and was impressed by the cleanliness and features that it had and therefore booked the Microtel in the area we were visiting. The first room we entered had worn carpeting, a door missing from the closet, a musty odor and a dirty refrigerator. The next room was better, the the overall appearance of the hotel was disappointing. We will not stay there again, but will return to our usual hotel.

For a very economical short stay, this facility did the trick. Contrary to several other reviews, the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The front desk was courteous and accomodating. Maintenance resolved a minor bathroom problem within minutes of informing the staff.

My husband & I booked a non-smoking room. The room we were given on the 2nd floor REEKED of smoke; turned the bedspread down and found multiple cigarette burns on it. The carpet was nasty & the towels were threadbare. On the plus side, the front desk clerk was friendly & fortunately there was another room on the 1st floor in better condition; although I wouldn't recommend even walking on the carpet w/ socks on. If there hadn't been that one room, we would have been out our money b/c we wouldn't have stayed in that first room. Do yourself a favor & pay a little extra for a better hotel.

The hotel looks NOTHING like it does in the pictures. When we drove up to it we actually thought it was closed down because the outside looked so decrepit. Our room smelled HORRIBLE which we later figured out was probably due to the fact that the AC unit was leaking/sweating water all over the floor. I would not stay here ever again, it would have been better to sleep in your car!

This was a good motel. The staff was great, adequate continential breakfast, comfortable room with fridge and microwave, comfortable beds, within walking distance of at least 3 restaurants and a strip mall. Short hop (~9 miles to Charlotte motor speedway and ZMAX dragstrip). Right on the I-85 interstate easy on and off. Short hop (~15 miles to downtown Charlotte). I would recommend this to any who need a clean room and comfortable bed. The only thing they lack was a coffee pot in the room, but you can get it downstairs. We've stayed there two years in a row and we were satisfied each time, will stay there again next year.
