Summary:
Trails Sister is a peaceful, north-east-facing house that is adjacent to House of Trails. It is conveniently located 5 minutes from Alpine,but outside of town enough to see the beautiful night skies.
The Space:
Comfort and calm pervade this two bedroom, 2 bath home, replete with a full kitchen for all your away-from-home meals. The living room features a full size futon. The porch is lovely for viewing the sunrise, and a shady haven during the afternoon sun. Trails Sister also has covered parking and a fenced yard. There are 6 acres to hike up "A" Mountain that includes a switch back path that takes you almost to the very top where the best scenic views are.
Trails Sister uses all natural cleaning products which we believe are good for our guests, our cleaners, and the environment.
Guest Access:
Included in your stay is the use of a hiking trail that goes down to Blue Water Natural Foods, or half-way up ‘A Mountain’ to a sweet bench. Evening sunsets are beautiful from this vantage point.
The area around the pond is a common area that can be enjoyed by guests and residents living close by.
The Neighborhood:
The home is in an natural and native area. This includes native landscape that can be quite harsh and prickly, as well as, native animals and critters. Also wasps and bees and other insects thrive here and steps are taken to make sure they are not harmed. Please consider any allergies before booking.
Trail's Sister is conveniently located in very close proximity to the local natural food store. Blue Water Natural Foods is the perfect place to pick up food and other items for your stay! You will find a discount card inside the home.
Other Things to Note:
Pets only with prior notice and a $75 pet fee which we will request a few days before arrival.
Please do not allow pets on the furniture.
Please dispose of pet waste in the metal bin.
** Please be aware that the desert terrain can be quite harsh for pets that are not used to it and Trail's Sister features a natural and native environment. Dog shoes are recommended for dogs that are not acclimated to the desert.
TV - There is not cable or satellite service, however he TV is a smart tv and you can log into your own accounts to watch shows.
