Front desk staff very friendly! The parking situation is horrific…only 7 spaces, driveway extremely narrow, no street parking or prohibited. Room was very nice, clean, up to date. Neighborhood is sketchy so beware. Would stay again if the price is right.

The hotel is a short walk to the Air Trian in Jamaica so it was easy to get to after a long flight. I had an overnight layover and chose this hotel for its proximity to the air train and the lower price. The neighborhood is a little sketchy and loud but that is just NYC being NYC. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Couldn't get a very hot shower but it sufficed. There is a mini fridge in the room but I didn't see a safe. The walls are thin and you can hear everyone around you. I was exhausted from a 15 hour travel day over from Europe so it didn't bother me too much. Just used a white noise machine and some ear plugs. It was a decent landing point for a layover, not sure I would want to stay there otherwise. But if I have a layover again in NYC I would probably stay again.

The front desk was very kind and respectful. Only issue was the elevator was out one evening but was up and running the next day.

Room was clean and staff was friendly. Appreciated that they did allow early check in.

You can get airtrain directly from jfk to Jamaica and then this hotel is about 8-10 mins walk. You can then walk back to Jamaica and get the E subway into Manhatten so location is excellent, especially if you cannot afford the crazy prices on manhatten hotels right now. The area around the hotel is pretty bad, very run down and not particularly nice. The hotel itself was pretty efficient and room was decent- clean and comfortable. Good bed and modern room.

The Hotel was nicely located for taking early flights from JFK (as we had to do). But the relation price : benefit is very poor. We got a reservation in the Suite, but got a less that normal room instead. When we arrived the key configuration device was not working at the front desk, the lady on duty did his best effort to handle the situation, but anyway this translated in a very slow checking process. The room was situated in a lower level, half underground. We only had half window with a view to the parking lot, so noise and a lot of light was entering. Cleanliness of the room was aceptable, but the bathroom was poorly maintained and the bath had a stained floor. We stayed just 6 hours for a long layover between flights, so I cannot give more opinions about more details.

As the title states, you get what you pay for. The overall experience wasn't terrible, but it wasn't amazing. First and foremost, the staff were friendly and helpful... But that's about it, aside from the decent WiFi(which should be standard anyways). Yes the hotel was constructed/remodeled recently but it seems like it's not maintained very well. Our room particularly there was a brown stain running down the toilet, weird specs came up from the drain and a lot of weird stains or scrapes on the wall. Water is not the hottest. A majority of the outlets didn't work nor did the wall lights. The walls are pretty thin, you can hear a conversation right outside your door and vice versa. Also, yes, the parking is as what others described. It was super sketch, very tight. If you're not patient, good luck. As for the area, if you're not used to the surrounding area, you may feel uncomfortable. It's not bad, but again, it's not great.
The hotel overall is alright. Take the higher rating reviews with a grain of salt and take the lower ones a little more seriously. Luckily the research I did set our expectations, and we were fine staying here as we were looking for low rates while in the expensive ass city.If you're absolutely needing cheap rates, staying in NY for a night, or don't care about the aforementioned above . Then I can see why this would work for people. If not, I'd suggest to look elsewhere.

The room was extremely small and the water was barely hot for the price of this place. Parking lot is very narrow.

less than 5 mins walk from JFK Jamaica Airtrain, non salubrious area which seems actually pretty safe, even after dark, friendly chatty receptionist, efficient elevator, huge room & bed - bathroom with tub! yippee. super bar/restaurant - Sangria - on corner (outside tables in Summer). only drawback is almost constant reversing “beeping” of vehicles throughout the night coming from location I couldn’t determine. very efficient A/C. recommended given “beeping”

Clean, reasonably priced and convenient to JFK.

Everything went well till I decided to take shower and I realized that there were blood stains in the bathtub. The hotel staff was able to change me the room but unfortunately the new room didn’t have bathtub. Overall the hotel is good but they need to review their cleaning procedures.

Shower did not have hot water.

We only stayed here because we had a flight change and couldn't find much availability. The neighborhood was sketchy, the bathtub appeared to be blood stained and the walls super thin. Had to listen to loud talking and someone with an apparent smokers cough. And, the cost! Over $300 for one night! Ridiculous!

Terrible experience first time in my life. When i entered the customer service lady told they will give me and my husband a king size room. The space they provided me was extremely small . Elevator was out of order , my husband had leg injury but we requested several times to give a lower floor as without the lift its difficult to climb up and down specially with my morning flights. My husband had to bring the suitcases from 7th floor all the way to the reception. The manager "Dean Riddle" was laughing and teasing with the customer service receptionist about us when we were struggling to climb 7th floor. Then they deactivated our room' s digital key access. We luckily had access to our phone sim card we called them , they again told to come downstairs in the lobby .We denied and told , i am from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 not from INDIA now, they were behaving racist.
We stayed here only for 2 Nights. No cleaning has been done other day. Coakroches were flying in our room .
Please i need help from EXPEDIA to look after this matter. I am so disappointed with this unprofessional hotel as whole nght opposite of my room number 701 someone there was smoking weed whole night , we couldn't sleep at all .

The people of the hotel were great.
The hotel was terrible, I have pictures of everything.
We got to the hotel and we made a reservation for a double queen room, it was out so med my wife and my daughter had to sleep in one king size (we accept it) because we trade it for a longer late checkout.
The main problem was that the room was disgusting:
1. Bathroom curtains han stains of mucus and blood
2. Hair all over the shower
3. Stains of hands and scratch’s on the bathroom wall
4. There was a container of marihuana and dirty napkins on the closet
5. Blood stain on the floor in the room
6. The floor and mirrors had stains
I want my money back, I had to go to the store to get cleaning wipes to clean the whole bathroom.

The sinks in the handicap rooms need to be lower. No hair dryer in room 505.
