Just a short walk from the harbour, which has plenty of cafés and restaurants, this is a great choice for friends, family or couples at any time of the year.. Ground Floor:

Bathroom 1: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Stairgate.. On road parking. Rear courtyard with garden furniture. No smoking.. Number Eight has a modern interior with plenty of space for up to six people, and is ideal for families, couples or friends. This terraced property is only a short walk from the working harbour, so you can leave your car behind and walk everywhere - it is especially pleasant on a fine evening to be able to stroll out for a meal or a drink. Set along the harbour are some small restaurants and cafés, some selling seafood and have outdoor seating so you can sit and watch the local boats and activity along the harbour. Sundays are popular with a market in the morning, the locals and visitors enjoy a stroll amongst the stalls with a fresh fish and meat van. A variety of small pods are home to local business offering bespoke goods, lovely to spend a few minutes on a sunny day. Amble has a fine selection of shops, cafés and plenty of amenities right on the doorstep.
If you like a walk, Warkworth is a couple of miles and easily reached via a walk along the estuary. With its castle at the top of the hill and little bespoke shops, lovely tea rooms and friendly pubs, this is a lovely place for a lunch or evening meal. Alnwick is a 15-minute drive and home to the famous castle used for some scenes in ‘Downton Abbey’ TV series and Harry Potter films; the cobbled streets and history add to the atmosphere.
Further up the coast are the popular villages of Craster, Beadnell, Bamburgh and Holy Island, which all make a wonderful day trip soaking in the friendly atmosphere, chatting to some of the locals and enjoying some great Northumbrian hospitality.
