This charming terraced cottage is perfectly situated for those seeking to explore the natural beauty of the Cotswolds, as it’s just moments from acres of National Trust land and the renowned Cotswold Way, offering stunning walks and countryside views.
As you step through the gate to the row of terraced cottages, you’ll be greeted by the unique character of Half-Pint Cottage. Arranged over three floors, the cottage offers a delightful mix of traditional charm and modern comfort. On the ground floor, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen and dining area with a wood-burning stove – the perfect spot for a quiet evening. The ground floor also features a shower room. Ascend the steep stairs to the living room on the first floor, where you can relax in front of the TV, make use of the desk space, or simply enjoy the view from the window seat.
Continue up the next set of steep stairs to the top floor, where the bedroom with a double bed awaits, offering a peaceful retreat for couples or solo adventurers. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Outside, directly opposite the front door, is your private garden with a patio, BBQ, and seating area, perfect for outdoor dining and enjoying the fresh Cotswold air.
The local area offers plenty to explore. Just a short walk from the cottage is Selsley Common, offering breathtaking views toward Wales and the River Severn. Enjoy hearty meals and real ales at the nearby 17th-century Bell Inn, or take in the stunning scenery of Woodchester Park, home to a fascinating, unfinished manor house and serene lakeside walks. The charming villages of Painswick, Slad, and Nailsworth are all within easy reach, each offering its unique Cotswold charm, perfect for a relaxing countryside escape.
