About this house rental
Waireka Waters in Whangamata is an awesome family bach that you will love to stay in.
Downstairs in the lounge area, you will find two king single beds with trundlers, more suited to children, couches, a TV and a pool table which makes this an awesome space for teenagers! There is also a queen bedroom downstairs.
Upstairs there are two queen bedrooms and a bedroom with two king singles. There are 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets.
There is a washing machine also available for guests to use.
The lounge, kitchen and dining areas are bright and warm with comfortable seating in the lounge, a flat-screen smart TV and access to the deck where you will see a lovely view of the estuary and beyond out to the ocean, a wonderful space to enjoy your morning cuppa. The dining area has seating for 6 people and there are four stools at the kitchen island. The kitchen has all the mod-cons and everything you will need to cook up your favourite holiday meals. Get the BBQ sizzling, enjoy your meals on the deck, and drink in the views. There is also an outdoor couch to relax on and enjoy a cheeseboard and a cheeky afternoon drink. The bach is a 10-minute walk to the local supermarket.

Whangamata is about an hour and a half from Auckland, Hamilton or Tauranga and is a popular coastal town with a fantastic surf and swimming beach. Take a kayak tour to Donut Island or take a trip or hike to Wentworth Falls. There are plenty of shops and cafes in the town take a drive out to Opoutere Beach and check out the Coastal Bird Reserve or grab your paddleboard and head to the estuary where the waters are a bit calmer. Let's not forget that Whangamata is home to the famous Beach Hop held every March for a week where vintage cars, caravans and motorbikes from around NZ are showcased. Vintage markets are operating and it's a family-friendly party atmosphere not to be missed!
