It consists of 5 homes, built imaginatively around a turfed park. The park includes a private heated pool, hot tub, and furnished grill, dining, and lounge areas, reserved only for Steele Park guests.
Carbon, the largest of the 5 homes, is prominently situated on the end of the park. A large firepit with seating is just off the front porch steps. The backdoor opens to the private amenities. This three-story home has luxuries and surprises on every level.
You’ll enjoy professionally styled interiors and a rooftop recreation deck complete with an outdoor fireplace and quintessential Carlton Landing views. Furnished to host up to 12 guests, Carbon has every detail provided.
The Space:
The exterior of Steele Park gives a nod to natural elements, with creamy white stucco, blue accents, and natural wood beams. The front porch faces East and looks directly onto Lincoln Square, a stately green way lined with trees and homes. Rocking chairs and a furnished fire pit area are provided at the front entry.
You'll be inspired with grandeur and whimsy as you enter through the arched front door and take in the fanciful interior design and towering staircase. The kitchen, dining, and living room share the first floor. This space has beautiful natural light but can also become cozy and private by closing the electric blinds. A comfortable sectional and armchairs are centered around a gas fireplace that comes on with the touch of a button.
The kitchen is stocked with Frigidaire appliances, an extra beverage fridge, plentiful dishes, glassware, cookware, and seating for 8 at the table and 3 more at the kitchen island. The dining area has a sliding glass door that brings you to the backyard, with an additional dining table for 8 on a paved patio. The first floor also has a powder bathroom, a laundry room, a smart TV in the living room, and plenty of storage for the items you want to bring along.
The second level is the main lodging floor. There is a primary suite complete with a king-size bed, smart TV, and a sizable ensuite bathroom and walk-in shower. This room is decorated in blue and yellow accents and has surprise design details that will be sure to impress. A free-standing full-size bathroom with a shower/tub combo is also on this floor and can be used by the two additional queen-size guest rooms.
The first guest room is a visual delight, with a wildflower field for wallpaper. The second is serene and white, but the ceiling is papered to depict a blue sky with whirling clouds and soaring birds. This guestroom also has a private balcony with seating for two that overlooks the Steele Park pool.
Continuing up the winding staircase, the unique third level makes a big impression. Multipurpose for rest and recreation, this level has it all. There’s a large living space with a smart TV, sofa and armchairs, and a beverage fridge and counter space to make snacking convenient.
Six single mattresses are arranged in built-in wooden bunk beds along one wall, and a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo is also on this level. Best of all, the North side of the room opens up to a generously sized rooftop terrace.
The terrace has a dining table and chairs, a sectional sofa, a partial pergola for shade, and an open space for suntanning. It also boasts a wood-burning fireplace and the most incredible views. The West end of the terrace overlooks the impeccably maintained Steele Park pool and amenities. The East end offers extensive views of Carlton Landing’s natural landscaping, forested skyline, and, notably, the stately Lincoln Square.

Your stay includes access to 3 community pools, a private sandy swim beach, fishing docks, sports courts, walking trails, and restaurants. Frequent planned activities and events include live music, outdoor movies, art and fitness classes and pop-up vendor shopping. Also on site seasonally, Lake Days Aqua Park offers non stop fun on the gigantic inflatable obstacle course as well as kayak, paddle board and lake cabana rentals. Popular for weddings, multi-generation family gatherings, organized retreats and relaxed family vacations, Carlton Landing is a must-visit location!
Getting Around:
The entire town of Carlton Landing is walkable, with sidewalks and boardwalks woven throughout. Bring your bicycles, scooters and skateboards!
