About this house rental
Welcome to this peaceful, newly remodeled dwelling unit hidden located just down the street from Manhattan's Beautiful City Park. While this hidden gem is perfect for your visit to Manhattan, its location makes it ideal for getting around town.
You are only:
1 min to City Park
5 mins to Aggieville
5 mins to Downtown Poyntz
10 mins to Bill Snyder Family Stadium
15 mins to the Konza Prairie Nature Trail
KITCHEN:
Our kitchen is stocked with the basics: plates, bowls, cups, flatware, knife set, a cutting board, coffee, pots, pans, cooking utensils, and a toaster. Anything else will need to be brought along with you! We occasionally have other supplies that have been left by past guests such as condiments, seasonings, foil, etc. but these are not guaranteed.
PARKING:
Caution - the entrance to the driveway is steep. If you do wish to use it there is free street parking available in front of the house.
It's a pretty quiet neighborhood with some friendly neighbors around the area. Lots of families mixed in with some college students that give it a good sense of age diversification. The home is also just a stone's throw away from some pretty sweet biking/walking trails headed a bit further south on the other side of Fort Riley Blvd.
South Manhattan has a steady stream of traffic coming through as it's a direct access to Fort Riley Blvd but nothing crazy. With that, there is plenty of street parking as well as a driveway that goes directly to the unit that can park up to two cars, in line with one another. It's about 3-4 blocks from City Park so perfect for a nice stroll or a bike ride. If you're feeling adventurous, you can take the trails south a couple of blocks, across Fort Riley Blvd. If you didn't want to, you wouldn't have to drive much considering it's within the range of 15-20 minutes of walking to reach either Aggieville or Downtown Manhattan off Poyntz, which translates to about a 3-5 minute drive. Both have some great options for shopping or eating out. Even the movie theatre is just a bit more at the end of Poyntz going east. Either way, you have a short distance to access some of Manhattan's best restaurants, activities, etc. Last, but not least, you have a 15-minute drive out to the Konza Prairie Nature Trail, which if you have the time, it is highly suggested that you check it out!
