Experience Dunsborough’s relaxed laid-back lifestyle in this wonderful 6 bedroom 3 bathroom house set on 5 acres of property.
Situated half way between the beaches of Dunsborough and Yallingup and only a short drive to the popular wineries, Popeyes Patch will have you unwinding and relaxing as you fit in to the southwest atmosphere.
If you are looking for somewhere with ample space Popeyes is perfect for large groups of people.
With the huge fully fenced 5 acre property there is plenty of room for boats and cars.
The open plan kitchen is modern and new and features 900 mm oven, and stainless steel appliances. and the dining room offers a large 12 seater dining table to seat everybody together or open up the double glass sliding doors to the huge covered alfresco area at the front of the house where you can cook on your 4 burner gas BBQ.
The kitchen, dining and living areas are climate controlled with reverse cycle air conditioning or if you prefer there is a large fan forced combustion wood fire to give the house that beautiful warmth and atmosphere.
The six bedrooms all feature queen size beds with electric blankets if you so desire.
There is a 46" digital LCD TV with DVD player, stereo system CD player and there's a separate kids activity play room, adjacent to the main lounge.
The bird life is amazing....so much variety.....blue wrens, 28's, the wonderful black cockatoos, and rosellas. Kangaroos graze in the paddocks.
Although we can't hold weddings at the property, this is a great place for extra guests to stay when your having your wedding.

Fantastic place to stay! March 14, 2017
We had 11 people staying here plus a newborn baby and it was perfect. Enough room for everyone plus bathrooms and toliets. We had a wedding in yallingupbrooke and the location was ideal. I would definitely stay at this property again

Fabulous get away December 27, 2016
We stayed here with family visiting from uk the week before Christmas and had a wonderful time. The house is split symmetrically so both families had their own half of the house and would eat, socialise in kitchen and living spaces. The house is well equipped and close to Dunsborough centre yet has the feeling of being in the bush.... where we enjoyed Roo spotting at dusk with the kids.

We were a group of 8 and the size and number of rooms was perfect for us with plenty of space in the living areas so that we could both be all together or find a quiet spot to ourselves.
It is in a great location being only a few minutes drive to Dunsborough and of course easy to get to the other parts of this south west area. It is very peaceful and quiet and many magpies and parrots and other birds visit the bush setting garden.
We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. The property is a great size with plenty of room for all to enjoy. Close to Dunsborough and all the south west has to offer. Checkin was seamless and Adam was a great help. It was a perfect getaway for our extended family trip down south.

This is an amazing property for large family/group. Each family had their own bathroom. The verandah was great for the kids to ride their bikes and scooter. The property is fenced so nice and safe. Our only gripe was it wasn’t very clean, overall it needs a good clean. Needs new knives & scissors as they are all blunt. Would definitely hire this property again.

We recently had my 60th birthday family getaway
Adult children & partners and grandson as well as my parents in their 80’s. Plenty of room for us all to have our own room, having the inside fire was fantastic, and used every day.
We were lucky to have a couple days of fine weather and enjoyed the bbq and plenty of room to kick a footy.
The visit from the kangaroos was special too.
Some of the beds and linen need updating, but the electric blankets were a big hit.
Great place, quiet and away from the crowds of a long weekend. Will definitely plan to go back again.

Adam was excellent and so helpful, our large family fitted in with heaps of areas to go and play for the children and the outside Bbq area is fantastic. Very clean and great space inside as well as outside. Kids enjoyed a lot. Bathrooms were spacious and clean. The owner was very kind to install a second fridge when previous renters had broken a shelf of the existing one.
The only issue was the tea coffee dishwashing liquid, toilet papers were not enough for our 5 night stay. Otherwise was great. Thanks for the nice stay

This property is in a great location. Accessible to Smiths, Yallingup, and Dunsborough in a matter of minutes. It is in a lovely quiet culdesac. Popeye's Patch has the bones of a great house with two wings of three bedrooms and enough bathrooms to easily service twelve guests.
It needs a little more maintenance and a refresh of the interiors. The large outdoor area is a perfect spot to relax but I would remove the screens that obscure your views of the garden and maybe use them to block the prevailing wind at the end of the verandah.
We are a family of 6 and with our adult children's partners, we had plenty of room.

Stayed at Popeye Patch again after our first visit 12 months ago. Adam and Tanja have spent some money to upgrade their already beautiful house. Lovely property and a quiet area that was great for the family to relax on our winter break. Have only one disappointment... couldn't extend our booking for a longer stay. Planning ahead for next year.

Enjoyed a lovely stay at Popeyes with family members- plenty of room to stretch out both inside either inside by the fire or outside undercover and great amenities including bbq, numerous bathrooms, coffee pod machine and well appointed kitchen. Lovely nearby walks and dunsborough close- by for supplies. Adam and Tanya both very helpful and responsive on any query and easy to deal with which set a nice relaxed tone for the duration of our family stay- thank you

Fantastic house, beautiful location, perfect for a trip down to the South West
Popeye's Patch did not let us down at all. The house is brilliant. Plenty of space for the humans to chill and the dogs to run around. We went with my family and friends and everyone just really enjoyed the space, the tranquillity and all of the facilities in the house.
We will definitely be looking to stay again as it just ticket all the boxes as a base in the Dunsborough area, with plenty of room and space for the whole family.

Large house in great location
I booked this property for me and my family to stay and celebrate my birthday. There is lots of space and the property has everything you need. The two things that let it down were uncomfortable beds and it was not very clean. Adam was helpful when we had a couple of issues and quick to sort things out. Good place for large groups but needs some TLC.

Tranquility at its Best.
Popeyes Patch suited all our needs. It is very big and looks a even better than the pics. Our grandkids loved the freedom of the outsides and the playroom was amazing, they went straight in on arrival and checked all the toys out. Adam and Tanja were very easy to deal with and replied very quickly to our emails when we were down there. The Kitchen had everything we needed with a full size fridge. It is nice and close to Dunsborough if you need to shop. My daughter brought her little dog down, who very quickly fell in love with the vast outsides and is still recovering from all the running. It has a lovely outside area but because it was quite cold and there was a nice log fire burning inside we didn't spend a lot of time there like we would if it was Summer and a bit warmer. There was a family of ducklings which kept us all amused, there must have been about 14 little fluff balls on legs and they moved around everywhere. When they were on the move there was dad all the littlies and mum at the back they moved very fast for such little things. The house itself was huge and plenty of space for everyone not to need to be on top of each other. We had a lovely walk in the Olive Grove with the grandkids and grand dog. Will definitely stay there again.
