Upon arrival there was a very strong smell of mold. After investigating i discovered that the backside of the tv cabinet was covered with it. The front desk staff was very attentive bringing an 'ionizer? To dry the mold. It didn't really work. Room still smelled even after they had come and wiped it off. Walls and Windows very thin. Could hear people in room next door snoring. As well as people walking by outside. Room looked to be recently made over but cleaning people weren't keeping up. Dirty hand prints on doorways and light switches.

The motel is a diamond in the rough. I didn’t think it was possible to find a place in Daytona Beach on the ocean for such a reasonable price. But there is and it’s worth every penny!

Came down from Ct to visit my mother in Port Orange. This is the second time staying here. The hotel is not fancy but it is clean. Within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The Cracked Egg is a great place to get breakfast, right across the road. It's a tiny little hotel but, you can tell they take pride in making things comfortable.

Picked the Atlantic Ocean Palm Inn last minute after canceling another place and I wasn't disappointed. The staff was very helpful, the rooms were clean and updated, access to the beach, reasonable prices....I would absolutely stay there again.

The place would be better if management start maintaining it. There were air conditioning liking, umbrellas were damaged, and building needs painting. However, the room was clean and cozy.

We were in town for a youth softball tournament, so we really only slept there and left early the next morning. Check in was easy, the room was really clean, don't like that the ac had been turned off before we arrived. And they should mention the one car per room policy, they are short on parking spaces. We typically would not stay at a place priced this low but our group was staying here, however it was very clean comfortable and safe.

Weekend getaway, very much needed. Very nice rates for a hotel right on the beach. The grounds could be a little cleaner. The rooms were decently cleaned. The only real complaint that we had was the bed was terrible. It was literally like we were sleeping on the floor they were so firm, made for a rough couple of nights to try and sleep. Update the beds and this is GOLD.

Being FROM Florida, we set pretty high standards of conduct and condition of beach-side hotels. Atlantic Ocean Palm Inn met or exceeded all of them. The staff was fabulous, and check-in was a breeze. The beach access is exemplary, and the morning coffee was superb. EVERY staff member with whom we made contact was polite, professional, and beyond reproach. Highly recommended.

We stay at the Atlantic Ocean Palm Inn several times per year and are always pleased with the accommodations. It is not fancy, but it offers you a very affordable place to stay that is right on the beach. It is located on the nicest part of the beach, away from the boardwalk and the crowds.

AC did not work very well, couldn't skeep first nighr. Checked out windows. Found rear window unlocked and a crack open. Found front window a crack open too and it didn't lock ccompletely. Felt unsafe. Also, the internet did not work well. Tried to watch Netflix but it kept dropping connection and freezing. Tried to call office to complain about 8 pm several times but no one answered. Good price but smallest, oldest hotel on street. Won't stay here ever again.
