This fully furnished two bedroom apartment is located in Astoria, Queens, 4 train stops away from Manhattan. The apartment is found on the 3rd floor of a walk-up "green" townhouse, which is located on private, gated road that faces the athletic fields of Long Island City High School. The downstairs floors are occupied by the owners.
This apartment is a spacious 640 square feet, featuring air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout and high speed internet access, both wired and wireless. Linens and towels are provided.
The living room is furnished with a sofa that faces an entertainment center including a wall mounted 46'' Sony HDTV with cable, Blu-ray and 5:1 surround sound. For casual dining, there is a small table that seats two. A large walk-in closet provides extra storage space. The kitchen opens into the living room, and is equipped with radiant heated ceramic tiles, LG fridge/freezer, stainless steel Frigidaire full gas range stove/convection oven, microwave, air fryer, coffee maker, and toaster. There is ample cupboard storage. Cutlery, plates, pots and pans are all provided, enabling you to cook full meals at home.
The first bedroom (Bedroom 1 in photos) includes a double size bed, a night table, a dresser and a TV with cable and a VCR. Bedroom 2 also has a double size bed, as well as two night tables and a computer desk. The bedrooms both have closets and additional storage is available in drawers underneath the beds.
This fully furnished apartment is conveniently located on 33rd Avenue in Astoria, New York. It is only 2 blocks away from the NYC ferry that goes along the east river to Brooklyn and Manhattan. Also within 2 blocks, you will find a post office, pharmacy, banks, laundromat with dry cleaning, grocery stores and churches. Nearby cultural attractions include Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum and the Socrates Sculpture Garden. Pets and smoking are not allowed.
Public transportation is particularly convenient: The N/W subway station is less than 4 blocks away, and just outside of the gated area, you can catch the Q100 Express, Q69, Q104, and Q66 buses, making commuting to Manhattan and the other boroughs of New York City simple.
