The villa is minutes away from the centre of Koskinou, a delightful Rhodian village which, despite rapid tourist development on Rhodes island, has managed to maintain its own character. The village combines old and new, boasts some very good local tavernas and is known for its hospitable and welcoming inhabitants.
Rhodes town is also 5kms away, minutes by car. This busy cosmopolitan centre also combines old and new, and boasts a unique Palia Poli, or Old Town, which is designated a UNESCO historical site. The walled Old Town, with its paved and cobbled streets, boasts a plethora of restaurants and tavernas, shops and bars. This monument is a living Old town, with more than 2,500 local inhabitants. Cars are not permitted in the Old Town but what better way to take in its atmosphere and charm than a stroll along its lanes? Besides its seemingly endless tourist services and facilities, the Old Town also has an amazing Palace of the Grand Master, harking back to the days of the Knights of St John; a world-class archaeological museum; one of Europe’s oldest Jewish synagogues; mosques, Byzantine churches and many more historical monuments. You walk and breathe history in the Palia Poli.
The Old Town, however, also has a very lively nightlife and a different charm in the evening light.
Rhodes town is, however, not just the Old Town. ‘Downtown’ Rhodes is a busy commercial centre with shops to match those of any major European centre. Mandrake harbour hosts pleasure and day trip boats to suit all tastes and pockets and the town’s beaches are, like all those on Rhodes island, lucky to have sparkling clear water.
Just 2.5kms from Rodos Paradise Villa lies the outstanding Kalithea spa, an area developed in the 1920’s when wealthy Europeans and travellers from the Middle East sought out its natural spring waters. Restoration work on the original spa buildings and the surrounding areas has Kalithea rated as one of Rhodes’ top attractions. It’s a stunning area, great for swimming, sunbathing, diving and perfect for an evening cocktail. It is also a popular venue for weddings.
Close by (3kms from Rodos Paradise Villa) is the island’s largest resort, Faliraki with a staggering range of hotels, facilities and services for holidaymakers.
The east coast road, which is easily accessible from Rodos Paradise Villa, leads on to Afandou (13 kms) and the island’s golf course. Then, on to another major resort, Kolimbia. Inland the Seven Springs valley is well worth a visit.
Back on the coastal road there are numerous towns and coastal resorts en route to what is considered the ‘jewel’ of Rhodes island, the town of Lindos.
Lindos is 35kms from Rodos Paradise Villa. It’s a stunning village, nestling under the Lindos acropolis which is one of Greece’s oldest. It’s a favourite of most visitors to the island and it’s easy to see why! Lindos is a town of whitewashed houses and tiny paved lanes. Cars are not allowed; Lindos streets are ruled by its local ‘taxi’, donkeys which weave their way through the town up to the acropolis. Lindos offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, tavernas and bars; its sandy beach is rarely empty!
A trip up to the acropolis is recommended.
The road along the east coast continues, through more resorts and small towns, to lead to Prasonissi at the very tip of the island.
The Western side of the island is also easily accessible from Rodos Paradise Villa and offers another array of sightseeing possibilities including: Philermos, the unique Valley of the Butterflies; Ancient Kamiros; ruins of castles and fortresses and many towns and villages, each with its own character and atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the owner of this property, Michael, was dishonest in his listing and during our stay. When we booked the property, it was listed as having 3 full bathrooms and one half bathroom, and was priced to reflect this. In fact, there are only 2 full bathrooms and one half bathroom in the house. There is a second half bathroom in a separate building that is more like a shed or outhouse. So the current listing is still misleading.
Because we had seven adult guests for our stay, it was inconvenient to have one less shower than we were expecting. After much negotiation, Michael agreed in writing to provide us with a partial cash refund. He failed to do so, making excuses for not giving us the refund. As we had stated to him, we would not have booked the house had we known the bathroom situation
One of the bedrooms is a very small, windowless room containing a washing machine. It's not really suitable as an actual sleeping bedroom. This is also not disclosed in the listing.
Michael was upset about our complaint about the bathroom error, and expected us to overlook this error. When we did not, and expected to not pay the original price (which was for essentially a different house), he was not pleasant to deal with.
The property is otherwise very nice, with a large, well-stocked kitchen, beautiful views from the front porch and balcony, and a lovely pool and garden. It is walking distance to the village of Koskinou, and close to beaches and the Old Town of Rhodes.

Our group of two families stayed at this beautiful property for two weeks.
The location is tranquil and there are wonderful views across the valley and to Turkey in the distance. The villa is set in a charming garden with a pool set on one side. This provides multiple outdoor spaces to relax in and enjoy.
The villa itself is very well equipped and everything is finished to a high standard. There is more available living space than we were able to use in two weeks. The kitchen is excellent and a BBQ set to the side of the property was used extensively.
It is a 15 minute walk into the centre of Koskinou which is charming and has several welcoming tavernas for dinner.
Our host Michael was exceptional. He was never intrusive but was always available when we asked him to assist us. He is very hospitable and went out of his way to ensure we had a really special holiday.
We recommend a car if you stay at this property, which is well located for exploring Rhodes. There is a well stocked mini market in Koskinou and multiple supermarkets are within a 10 minute drive. Rhodes Town is 15 minutes away and Lindos was around 45 minutes.
The quality of the property, the garden, the pool and quiet location made for a relaxing and very enjoyable holiday.

Lovely holiday in Koskinou
We've just returned from a week in Koskinou and had an excellent holiday. Michael's villa is beautiful, exactly as described and pictured. The local village of Koskinou is very scenic and Rhodes old Town is an easy 20 minute drive.
Michael was a fantastic host and provided everything we needed, going far above and beyond all expectations.
We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday!

What an amazing property!
I have just enjoyed a short but very enjoyable stay at the Rodos Paradise Villa. The property more than lives up to its description: it is well located, in a fabulous garden setting and offers an amazing view over the east coast of Rhodes. The villa was spotlessly clean and offered all the facilities required for a perfect break on Rhodes. The host, Michael Kasiotis, was a perfect example of Rhodian charm and hospitality: friendly, courteous and helpful. I will certainly recommend this property to my friends and colleagues and look forward to staying at the Rodos Paradise Villa on my next holiday on the island.

Great villa!
Rodos Paradise Villa is a wonderful, stylish, spacious and elegant villa. It has a lovely out-door area - a beautiful garden, a nice swimmingpool and ample seating. We had a delightful week in this house. The villa was very clean and the gardener and the maid did their very best making our stay comfortable. Mixalis was very welcoming and met us at the villa very early in the morning so we could have "early check-in". We ordered homemade moussaka via Mixalis - a delicious meal. A car is required. I really recommend this villa! We would very happily have stayed longer.
