No toiletries, toilet paper, lift not working and a lot of noisy building work around the hotel

Room was nice and spacey everything was great

Late booking and check in caused some issues with the ladies who answered the line and kept cutting out, had to call several times but luckily the manager was in and heard us and came out - very lovely and friendly manager

Exceeded expectation. Great location and ocean view (with a tiny bit of tree obstruction from level 3), comfortable and decent sized apartment, staff were friendly and helpful.

The washer dryer .. separate units would have been wonderful as the condenser dryer wasn’t great. Grateful that there was a clothes drying rack in the apartment also.

Reception staff: UPDATE: The response to my review was a blatant lie, Booking.com did not require a deposit at the time of booking and the manager admited that he had canceled my booking and it was their fault. That is why I reciecved a discount. The room they moved us to on the 16th floor for the first 4 nights was disgusting. The bathroom light was covered in green mold and the bathroom had not been renovated in the last 20 years. My son was forced to sleep on a camping bed as we were moved to a ONE BEDROOM apartment when we had booked a two bedroom. This caused our holiday to be ruined as my son suffered horrific back pain from the horrible mattress. The staff were extremley rude and showed no empathy for the distress they casued when cancelling my booking. They repeatedly threatened to kick us out while the son of the manger used his "bad day" as an excuse to berate us and fly off the handle. The manager's wife was the rudest person I have ever met in my life. She continually pressed blame onto me and threatned to pass on Booking.com commison to me despite it being their fault. The facilities at the hotel are sub par with the maintenance and cleanliness being well below standard. The rooms are extremley overpriced and the stones on the spa wall are falling off. The construction noise woke us up at 5am every morning and the rooms had no insulation from the banging noise of doors coming from the corridors. WORST HOTEL EVER, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

This part of Broadbeach is one of our favourite Gold Coast locations as everything is really close - including the beach. The views from a top level ocean front room are absolutely stunning! A nice combination of two pools, a spacious spa and a sauna to relax after a day full of activities.

The desk is only manned for several hours a day, and checking in wasn't terribly easy for us - the wall intercom on a windy day is not a perfect way to communicate. The wiring in the unit is somewhat weak - the safety switch for a set of wall sockets tripped overnight during drier operation. Sadly, the fridge was on the same circuit, and we only learned that after coming back from a day of activities.... I couldn't locate the switchboard straight away and it took me quite a while to get through to after hours desk on the phone. (Must mention though that the service person arrived really quick, although I managed to find the switchboard by that time.) The switch kept tripping on every second attempt to use washer or drier, so it must have been a known problem and I would really appreciate if not having it fixed in the first instance then at least getting some advice in advance. To summarise, better communication could have made all the difference between a very nice holiday - and a perfect one.
