The hostel is very clean and the kitchen is really well equipped. Felt like at home!
The hostel is perfect if you want to get away from the noise. You can both relax and even work in it. The living room is very large, with a comfortable sofa, TV and even board games. The terrace is also a huge plus!
Very kind and responsive employees!

The room was spacious and had its own little terrace and could even see the ocean between the trees. The staff were very accommodating with my arrival and departure schedule.
A full length mirror is always nice to have in a room.
4.5
The extra personal touches - very welcoming.

Mattress was sinking in the middlle so ended up with back ache

Alina was really nice and welcomed us to the hotel. The vibe was quite cool, makes you feel like the place belongs to a backpackers family. Well located. Big room and spacious bathroom.
Kitchen was clean, organizad and well equiped.
A bit expensive.

Easy check-in, beautiful property and room, very comfortable and clean.
Everything was great!

The air conditioning, fridge, balcony and location.
This isn’t an hotel. There is not a cleaning lady: our room stays dirty because of the sands on the floor. You even have to clean the dishes after your breakfast (that get be interesting for a “hotel”. Despite the description of the “hotel”, there is NOT daily cleaning.
About the breakfast, you MUST have your breakfast on a large table with everyone. If you dare to go out to have a fresh croissant, the staff won’t understand that and they will question you. You MUST share your breakfast with strangers.
Talking about the breakfast, there is a small table with basic things. There is obviously a lemonade on the table but it’s not cold (as the yogurts and cheese). We preferred to have our breakfast somewhere else.
In the room, there is not a lot of storages and if there is (like the wardrobe), the drawers can’t be closed. The bathroom of the room is a nightmare because the flow is awful. You have to wait approximately five minutes for the water to go (you are taking a shower but also a bath). The WC are terrible because of the flow again. It can be blocked easily.
There is no one at the reception in the afternoon. We had a problem with our keys, I tried to call them but no one answer. On their website, it’s written that they are speaking many languages. That’s incorrect. They speak Portuguese and some person of the staff speak English. That’s all.
Every morning, the noise of the furniture will wake you up.
The card door of the room 5 isn’t working properly. We had been be stuck several times in front of our door.

Felt very calm and relaxed, room was much nicer than I expected and lovely shared areas.
Room was right next to the front door so it was a bit noisy.
4.5
I was comfortable. Slept well. It was close to center, but not in the middle of the noise.

It is just ok…
Definitely not worth the price of 70£ for what is offered so very low value for money. The room I booked deserves maximum 50£. It was a room in the attic so I banged my head on the low ceiling once. Just a casual hotel room. Location is not that great as well, it’s not near the beach so paying that much is not justified in terms of location either. The nice thing is that it had a cute balcony.

Nice common areas. Lovely balcony with a glimpse of the sea
Could have been a little cleaner. It was quite dusty under the bed and on the floor. The bathtub drain was clogged, but the personnel did try to fix. The walls are quite thin.

Really friendly staff here and at Ljmonade Hostel. Good communication.
Really easy to walk everywhere. Great balcony (top floor room 7).
The bathroom was pretty awkward to use because of the slanted ceiling (in top floor room 7).
No shower curtain.
Towel didn’t smell great.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel. The room is bright and cozy, with a lovely balcony where you can drink delicious Portuguese wine in the evening. The kitchen has everything you need to make dinner - pots and pans, cups and glasses and even an electric grill! There is a coffee machine where you can make fresh coffee for free.
What else I liked is that there is fresh lemonade, sweets and biscuits in the living room.
The hotel itself is very close to the centre of Cascais - 7 minutes walk
Everything was good! Thank you for excellent staying. I would strongly recommend this hostel

I really loved the room - it was spacious and pretty nice for the budget. Very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean.
What I didn't like was the breakfast - it could definitely have been much better. There were very few options. And because it said breakfast included, I didn't plan for it either but it was basic. Also the shower in my bathroom was not working. But I think that was a temporary problem. I somehow managed.

Nice, comfy, spacious room. Good beds, possibility to store your stuff. Nice breakfast (with vegan options), very helpful staff (send me a video for the late check in), beautiful building. I recommend :)
It is a very old building so you hear everything that happens, also the noise of the street. Consider that if you are sensitive.
