Very good

The apartment is very clean with a new bathroom. Large balcony overlooks a lovely pool with ample room for lounging. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Although very clean the furniture could do with updating. Steep hill down to beach but that applies in many resorts.

Good if you get one of the updated apartments. Don't bother otherwise

The staff who greeted us were great. One of our friends' in the other (nice) apartment got locked out and they were very prompt and not quick to judge. The view was great, really nice vista. The pool and facilities were well-maintained apart from a wierd brown stain at one side. It's salt water but not as strong as the sea but some salination has taken place.

The apartment hasn't been updated since the building was first built or so it seems. There is no air con, which is summertime Portugal is ridiculous, no WiFi (meh for me but families with kids will struggle) There were dirty tide marks, not only in the bottom of the bath (with a little shower spray) but also in the bedroom, they're not hard to clean and look absolutely rotten. The mattresses are something out of a Cambodian prison, about 3" thick sofa foam and absolutely useless. The sofa bed has the same on it. Welcome to chronic back pain! We paid €50 cleaning fee to never see a cleaner, I'm sure some apartments make them earn their money after they leave but they wouldn't take our rubbish bags away after we were told to place them outside the door by the owner. Literally screaming at one of our group when he did so whereas one of the other apartments our friend rented had every mod con and the cleaner actually showed up from time to time and removed the bags from where we had been asked to place them. Fresh towels are always wanted on a week's trip but I wouldn't know, because we didn't see any.
