About this house rental
Absolute dream location- a four minute stroll (less than 200 yards)down a private lane to private ocean beach access; lifeguarded beach a 10 min walk away. It's a quick walk to the train (20 min), so a commute from the City is easy. Hear the sound of the waves, and chirping of the birds as you relax on the deck with built-in grill, and enjoy great privacy; the backyard borders a large reserve. Outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. Nestled in to the landscape, the house sits on .3 of an acre. Sunlight streams into large windows from every room. French Doors open onto the deck from the kitchen and the living room. Sliding doors open onto deck from entertainment room and the primary bedroom. TV rises from the walnut cabinet in the living room, while kids watch in entertainment room. Well equipped kitchen.
It's truly lovely out here. Though we are renting it out for one to two months, it is also our family's vacation home. So we're making a wonderful home for ourselves, with all the amenities that we love.
Note also that vehicles aren't allowed on our beach for at least a mile in either direction so you won't get any pickup trucks pulling up next to your beach blanket (or even be able to see any).
Master bedroom and guest bedroom each have a queen sized bed; each of two kids' rooms has a twin trundle (twin with an additional pull out underneath) bed.
Beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach cart to get your stuff to the beach all provided, as are crisp, quality linens, beach towels and bath towels.

The home was comfortable and well appointed for our family of four for nearly a month. The location in the Amagansett Dunes is ideal for those wanting to be close to the beach and town. Look forward to staying again in the future.

We spent a long weekend in this beautiful, comfortable home. Its location on this friendly, unassuming street is a 3 min walk to the beach and less than 10 minute drive to groceries. The home itself is lovely and well-appointed. We loved our stay!

We had a fabulous time staying for a couple weeks at this cute beach house. Location is terrific! It is so close to the beach and in a charming neighborhood. Owners couldn't have been nicer and they were so helpful when we had questions. Overall a great family vacation - we would go again.

We loved this house and the location. It has a clean, airy, beachy feeling, and still retains the low key vibe of old-time Amagansett. It's not one of those new huge houses, which was perfect for us and which we prefer, and had enough space and rooms for what we needed. The bathrooms, kitchen and interior are all updated, and Jeannie was a great host, easy to reach and answering quickly the few questions that we had. We took our 25 year old son and the way the house is laid out, we were in the master bedroom on one side of the main living space, and he had the cluster of (4) rooms on the other side. It is perfect for a family or even 2 couples. The beach down the block was quiet and private, just what we needed after pandemic winter. We will definitely return!

Everything was perfect with my stay. The house is clean, stylish and comfortable. The short walk to a private beach was THE best part. I walked down the middle of the quiet private lane waving to friendly neighbors and greeting the family dog. I’m still thinking of how the peaceful week revived me.
The ease of communicating with Jeannie, the homeowner, is a large part of my positive experience.
This house, and what it offers, is simply perfect.

We had a wonderful week here. The house is very comfortable; clean and in a great location. We were on the private beach every day. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful with our requests. The beds are very good and the quiet provided great sleep. We barbecued and took advantage of building campfires on the beach. Can't wait to come back. Thanks Jeannie and Andrew!!!

Perfect location near quiet beach. Listened to the birds in the morning and waves crashing at night. Deer and rabbits frequented the private backyard. Beautiful home that was well stocked and the perfect layout for our vacationing family. Master separate from other bedrooms. Open floor plan amenable to entertaining. New kitchen and bathrooms. Plenty of arts and entertainment within a short drive. Nice hiking trails just up the highway in Montauk. The owners couldn't have been more hospitable.

Excellent location! Short walk to private beach, extra large lot with good parking. Close to Amagansett Square and not far from East Hampton shops and restaurants. Updated kitchen and guest bath. Guest rooms separate from master giving everyone privacy and personal space. New construction next door but did not interfere with us at all. We could hear the ocean at night and plenty of room to entertain on a large patio. No through traffic. We had a great week and thought the owners were extremely friendly and helpful.
