Very clean building/room.
Beds and TV could be upgraded.

Cleanliness room and confort are perfect. Bed is very good. Easy check in and check out.
It's not directly a hotel problem but some group of kids were running and training a sport so they made a lot of noise. Fortunately, they kept quiet in the night (at 11 PM)

Staff were very helpful. The pet-friendliness of the hotel was very appreciated, as was travelling with my dog.
Room, especially bathroom, looked recently updated. Shower was good.
Tons of parking. Proximity to Queens West campus (about 5 minutes) and close to downtown.
I found the bed far too soft for my liking. Bigger issue was I couldn't get the thermostat to work. I set the temperature I wanted, but nothing happened. Tried a few times, then gave up. It was the middle of the night so I didn't bother to contact the front desk for assistance.

It was exceptionally clean and quiet even though there were other occupants nearby. As this is becoming an increasingly rare commodity in hotels, it was very much appreciated at the Strata. Also free parking.
There was one small thing where I laughed and told my husband "ooops not perfect" but it was so small that I have already forgotten what it was. Lol

The hotel was very clean with modern design and sleek. It was very well attractive. The staff were excellent very thoughtful and kind. They were helpful willing with all of our questions and our needs.
Some of the room electrical appliances, such as mini lights, were not connected. There several wires and we didn’t know how they connected. However, we had very little to be concerned about.

Large room comfortable beds, air con quite.
No safe, could not connect to TV for chromecast

They definitely have made a big investment in recent upgrades. Nespresso machines, fancy mirrors etc.
Fit and finish of recent renovation is a little incomplete. Table and fridge wobbled, power bar hanging in mid air, new paint already peeling. The drywall roof in the parking garage is really strange!

Beautiful rooms, friendly staff.
Finding the entrance was a little confusing due to the old building in the other part of the plaza. Needed to ask people on the street for help.
2.5 / 5.0
It was clean and the bed was comfortable.
There was no breakfast. There was no tea in the room. The bedside lights didn’t work so you grope around in the dark( and staff admitted that they knew this).
It was noisy inside and outside the building.
Despite booking an early check in the staff wouldn’t give us the room until 3. We were supposed to be at a wedding by 4. All in all a very poor experience. Would not book again.

The towels could be softer.

It was very quiet.... too quiet. needs more publicity.

Good position
They charged me a late fee when I check out around just 12.30p.m. I thought the time is 12but it's 11. But they just chared me 50 dollars with no warning or anything, it sucks. And they don't offer free water, it's the first time I met these questions in a 3 start hotel.

Nothing. We checked in and saw the room and called booking to get us out of the hotel. They assured us that we were not going to be charged. So we booked the Holiday Inn (which was great). Now the Strata is claiming that we stayed at their hotel and is refusing to give us our money back! On top of dealing with a dying relative, now I have to fight to get my money back. AVOID THIS HOTEL !
I booked this property in Kingston to go and see my dying aunt. When we arrived we realized the hotel is in a strip mall (pictures don't show that). The lobby looked great but the room was gross. The furniture didn't look like the ones in the pictures. It looked like my grandmothers bedroom set. The bed was soft and the sheet were cheap. The room was tiny and because the furniture was so oversized there was barely room to walk between the bed and the t.v/desk area. Under the bed was all dirty and the hallways and elevator smelled like smoke. The key to our room didn't work and I simply pushed the door open on my own.

I don't like the idea of, after spending for a room, you have to pay if you need breakfast.
4.5 / 5.0
The room was very clean, well laid out and modern. Free underground parking is a bonus.
cable for tv did not work properly, small touches could be looked at by maintenance staff ( water stains on bathroom ceiling) , more vivible entrance sign to the hotel lobby.
3.5 / 5.0
Newly renovated rooms, hallways and main areas.
The bathrooms didn't have hairdryer, not enough lights, no robes, not enough hooks on walls. Breakfast offering was poor just cookie, crossiant and tea/coffee.
2.5 / 5.0
Very nice, spacious and comfortable rooms.
At the time of my stay a lot of construction work was going on in the common areas of the hotel.
The ambience outside of the room was not very welcoming and sometimes there was no staff available at the reception for longer periods of time.
2.5 / 5.0
The mattress was very comfortable; flooring was modern; room was very clean; priced right
The pillows were disgusting; the “included” breakfast was chintzy; very noisy - street noise was constant and could hear tv in neighbouring rooms
