priced like a quality hotel, with the service a roadside inn.

I stayed for a week, it was incredibly noisy, people loitering in the halls after midnight. No one answered the phone whenever I called down for service of any kind, it just rang and rang, and they didn't call back. I was paying over $300 per night and when I asked to have a kettle in my room they said they didn't have kettles anymore and there was nothing they could do. A kettle costs $10. This place was an overpriced poorly staffed rip off. There was one wonderful guy there named Eugene. Find him if you need anything, he's great.

Shit experience overall, will never return here.

Bed was comfy. That’s about it.

Rude, Unaccommodating staff, completely overwhelmed with being at capacity. All emails and communication ignored prior to arrival, Spent over $200 in parking and taxis over 2 days due to their parking situation. Nonchalant, rude front of desk staff Ruined my weekend. Will never return here. Gilberto the hotel ‘manager’ was useless and way out of his depth.

Nice modern well maintained facility in downtown. Expensive.

Well maintained hotel in the downtown core, expensive. Exactly as expected.

Strange thing happened at breakfast - two of us used buffet breakfast (at $40/person), but when I wanted to take extra croissant with me for later, I was told it was not allowed. Never has experienced anything like that before in any hotel.

Good overall

Location very convenient, restaurant delicious, staff helpful!

The toilet is not entirely and thoroughly cleaned. It’s generally clean, but not thoroughly (i.e., shampoo bottle has a hair on it; a few stains on the toilet seat)

It was fine for the price we paid. But it does not live up to Marriott's reputation.

The location is excellent, and the room is adequately clean. Everything else, however, is average. In fact, the hotel on the whole is a little underwhelming for a downtown Marriott in a major metropolis.

The facility looks and feels outdated. The staff is friendly insofar as expected professionally. But again, in comparison to other Marriotts we stayed in major cities, this place feels rather lukewarm at best in terms of quality of service.

Great stay at Marriott Ottawa...

I stayed in a room for 2 nights, on a business trip. The check-in was very easy (even though I was a bit late). I was informed about all facilities available within the Marriott Ottawa. The room was easy to find (there were 5-6 lifts on ground floor). On arrival, I found the room clean and tidy. The bathroom was clean as well. Linen and toiletries were provided and good standard. The TV was working (though I didn't get to use it). There is a small fridge in the room as well. All electricals were in working order. I also had the breakfast for two mornings- There was a buffet available though I could have requested any type of omelette. The selection of condiments and cereals etc was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I did not use the (open) Wifi, the swimming pool and the gym though they were available for use if I wanted to. Finally, I ran into 2 problems while at the hotel (one due to noise on the floor from another room and other due to breakfast payment)- they were both resolved quickly and professionally. All in all, a great stay for me. Many thanks.

Our room was stuck between several hockey teams in town for a tournament. It was insanely loud all night!

We had a feeling that we belong to that place

Clean and comfortable, windows were very clean and everything is there proper place as it suppose to to be

Room service was not good, we have to call 4 time for bottle of water, we had feeling that they are not happy to service in room, bath room tub had bleach stains looks very ugly,

Nice central location

The hotel was on a great location, the staff were very friendly, and the restaurant food was tasty

The decor was so busy and the rooms and furniture felt dated. The coffee machine was utter crap and just created warm water and poor tasting 'coffee'. There was no kettle if you wanted a hot cup of tea.

Die Lage ist super, Fußläufig ist alles sehr schnell und gut erreichbar.

Die Ausstattung hat seine beste Zeit bereits hinter sich. Sehr viele Gebrauchsspuren was den optischen Eindruck doch sehr trüben.

Gut gelegenes Hotel für unseren 2-Tages-Besuch in Ottawa.

Wir hatten ein möglichst ruhiges Zimmer in den oberen Etagen erbeten und haben ein gutes Zimmer in der 23. Etage mit Ausblick auf das Parlamentsviertel erhalten.

Parken mit dem leider zu hohen Auto war in der Hotelgarage nicht möglich, ein Standplatz im Hof wäre möglich gewesen für 48 CAD pro Tag, was wir zu teuer fanden. Extern geparkt, war aber umständlich....

Stayed in better when in Ottawa. Problably will not go back.

Body wash in shower empty after 1st day. It was never checked for refill. Bad so uncomfortable. Breakfast brunch was terrible. Take à look at the hotel Westin to see how it should be done.
