Needs a lot of work done to get it back to the old glory!

Its in a good location with a good accessibility to the city.

The breakfast quality was very poor compared to my previous visit and almost everything in the hotel didn't work including pool, jacuzzi, not even the microwave in the room wasn't working and I had to waste all my leftovers i brought in. The faucet in the washroom was constantly leaking the whole time.

Deceptive Staff and Policies

Staff, deceptive. Changed Rooms because of our Pets and were told that the new room would be above the quoted rate. The room we were changed to was exactly the same as the quoted room. Then they added the pet fee.

Moldy rooms and can’t use the fan or ac because it just blows more mold into the room

The pool was open this time.

The black mold growing in rooms and all over the bathroom, it smells like mold and musk. Tried to turn on the AC and all it did was blow mold into the room. Disgusting. This is the 2nd time we stayed here and this is the same thing that happened last time. Clean your rooms better and take care of the mold issues!!!!

Good location. Comfortable, quiet, clean and helpful staff. I would stay here again for sure!

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Parking directly behind our room I always really like. Clean facility. C9mfortable beds. Decent size tv. Housekeeping kept up the room very nicely. Continental breakfast was great!

Good thing we're handy..

The tropical atmosphere.

The room had a lot of issues. The bathroom door handle was on backwards so one of our party was locked in the bathroom for awhile. Not safe at all. The sinks were both completely plugged. I ended up taking them apart and cleaning them. They were full of drywall and tape. The second bathroom had a glass door?! And the bathtub didnt work at all. The TV didnt work at all even after we tried to fix it. Also it was very noisy right beside the stairwell. There was a couple yelling at each other at 1am that woke us all up.

Great weekend.

I've always loved this property, plenty of nostalgia from my childhood and nowadays is still good. The rooms are good and the location is ideal.

Got one of the rooms in the middle of the building. Got a little toasty at night. Although it was partially my fault because I didn't update my credit card in time.

Wish the breakfast had more options.

I found bath and TV was very nice and close to a great pub really helped me relax.

Hot tubs were all closed and the sauna was lacking heat.

Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Room was very dark and depressing These rooms should be painted a soft white etc instead of all brown. Many things looked like they were from the 80,ties. Very old decorating but the bright pictures in hallway were ni

It was ok.

I liked the location and the staff was very friendly.

The room itself was not in good condition. Nails sticking out of transition strip on the floor, terrible painting and patch jobs on the walls/bathroom door. Mattress cover was full of stains and dirty (pet friendly room). The sheets and bedding smelled and felt clean and our sleep wasn't affected.

Cheap hotel if you don’t mind the bare bone basics

I used to go here back in the 90’s as a kid with family when waterslides were up and running

It’s run down since it’s glory days. Stayed there in 2022 and enjoyed it. Back then they still had a breakfast buffet/restaurant for brunch not just continental breakfast. This time they had a small continental breakfast that ran out of juice, coffee and milk for cereal but 8:15am (supposed to run until 9am) I said something to the front staff and they offered to make more coffee and restock however coming back 20 minutes later they did not. Also had issues with my toilet and had to fix it myself. The venting machines were empty and pool was dirty. Hot tubs were closed. It was an ok stay. I said something to the front desk upon checkout and he apologized

Easter Getaway

Super 8 is our destination of choice. It's off the main drag. It's centrally located.

The room was too warm. It only has 1 small window to the outside so it took a while to bring the temperature down.

I enjoyed my stay. I had an excellent night sleep. I showers had amazing water pressure.

The beds were comfortable and the showers had awesome water pressure.

I always enjoy my stay, nice staff and clean.

The mattress could be changed, I think it is time. I would like to see fruit on the breakfast menu. Some other places even offer eggs

The layout in the middle with all the trees is nice

Room 1 hot and cold water leaked from the cold tap onto the counter, the towel bar was on the floor of which they knew about. Room 2 the shower head blew off in the middle of a shower almost hitting my daughter in the head , the floor was cracked at the bathroom and uneven

It was good. I would choose this locatio again.

The room was very adequate. The pool was not open. It would have been nice to have some protien in the breakfast, even peanut butter.

As mentioned above, the breakfast lacked protien.

Hockey getaway for the boys

We enjoyed a much improved facility from the days when it was Esther's Inn.

Pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance. Would have been nice if we had been informed about this.

Disappointed. Normally we enjoy our stay, this time, we did not.

The lobby updates were beautiful.

Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Phone rang all night at different times and when we’d answer, it was just static. Barely slept.

Good and reasonable

The staff were friendly . Our room was a nice size , comfortable and clean. The indoor tropical trees are very pretty and relaxing.

The breakfast was basic, coffee, toast, yogurt, fruit cup. Good enough. Looked like corn flakes and fruit loops for cereal and a juice of some type.

Wasn't there very long but would return for a longer stay.

Pool wasn't open but wouldn't have used it, didn't want the breakfast, room was fine. Loved the tropical garden!

The place seriously needs to invest in new beds. They are old and they have 2 body forms worn into them. Also in the shower they need safety bars installed

Location was great.and room was clean.

Noisy guests with kids were up until very late. People in the next room were in and out until very late and noisy as well. No microwave in the room. No glasses either.

Will not coming back

Not many, the linens at least is clean

No elevator so you need to carry your suitcase all the way to your room through a path full of broken furniture, old carpet, garbage etc. not sure if they want to do a renovation or just want to leave all these on your sight. Room has a ‘central AC’ which makes the room really hot and you cannot lower it down on your side. After wait and talk to the receptionist their solution is turn on the fan, which is not very helpful. Receptionist seems slow and unprofessional, don’t know how to properly do her work as quite some people are waiting to talk to her.

the room was great but the amenities were NOT as advertised at all.

the room was very nice, the coffee was good, the price was decent.

the website says there is a restaurant, there is not Breakfast was included, but it was just a brown bag with a juice box, a fruit cup and a granola bar. The website says there is a pool and hot tub, it was there. the pool was never open and the hot tub rarely open.

Do not recommend

Rooms weren't clean, pool was freezing, hot tub was filthy, stains on sheets, smells in room, the complimentary breakfast was a joke. The floors were dirty and sticky.

Not much. This place is full of mold! Wont be long till health authority stuts it down. The continental breckfast is nothibg short of a bad joke on the consumer!!

Nice decor and comfortable room. Good price.

The pool and hot tub looked dirty and green. There is no elevator, so it was a bit hard to get our luggage to the family suite upstairs. The hotel needs renovation as it looks and smells old/damp. It could be more cleaner too.

Very good

Upon arrival staff was dealing with an unruly guest, something that was beyond their control but they dealt with it accordingly and apologized profusely to those of us checking in. They remained professional the entire time.

There was someone sleeping in the stairway at some point.
