The breakfast was very good. The location could not have been better for visiting the Reversing Rapids.

We enjoyed our short stay, however we had to leave early in order to catch the ferry.
The staff kindly sent us off with a nice breakfast in a bag, which was enjoyed on the ferry.

A beautiful old home with views of the city. Chairs outside for relaxing in a small garden or by a fireplace. An elegant lounge room with tea/coffee and water available as well as a common fridge and microwave available. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed and pillows, good towels and plenty of hot water. Breakfast is a highlight every morning and the hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful.

The building was unique and elegant , the grounds lovely and the staff and owners so helpful. The breakfast was delicious and they accommodated my gluten free need
It wasn’t so much a dislike just I’m not used to showering in a claw foot tub with no wall on one side if I were to lose my balance but it worked out fine

Great location. close to downtown Saint John and the reversing rapids. The owners are the loveliest people. And the breakfasts were the best we have ever had at a bed and breakfast. Gourmet chef quality. The interior and decor is old world charm. Beautiful view from the backyard.
The stairs were a bit much. But we managed. The mattresses were a bit hard. But that is just my preference

Excellent location, nice people, interesting heritage house. Very nice breakfast.
Wifi in alcove of our room was weak (but strong) in the bed-sitting area. There were problems with the tv, but staff were very responsive and sorted the tv issue out.

Unfortunately our time connection was so limited with our overnight stay, connecting with the ferry, we didn't get sufficient time to appreciate the property. Our departure was pre-breakfast, and a lovely brown bag, assembled with nice variety, was awaiting us in the common fridg breakfast area. It served us well on the ferry ride, more than we could eat.
We missed having hair dryer in room, but this may not be as common outside the US lodging. Grocery was nearby to provide any cooler size drinks, etc. needed for travel. As we were on a 2 week travel, it was necessary to have two suitcases. Not expecting to have 2 flights to carry our suitcases; however in this aged facility, a lift shouldn't be expected.

Very nice room and facilities in general. We had to leave early for the ferry, but a bag breakfast was provided.
It was not a problem for us, but the stairs may be difficult for some.

They prepared a lovely , healthy and well- balanced vegan breakfast which I have not been able to have anywhere on this maritime tour. This is the place to stay if you prefer to eat vegan.

Great breakfast and location. Saw a deer on the property when we arrived.
Didn't care for all the stairs we had to climb but it was to be expected in a huge historic house.

1860's original building tastefully decorated overlooking St. John harbour. Very clean and well kept. Very quiet sleep and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome and plentiful.
New owners were energetic and accomodating. For a great stay, and that step back into time its well worth the experience.
