The room looks very old , smells bad & filthy. The Bed is so uncomfortable & have stains The bathroom is dirty. The floor is nasty. The price also is too high for the quality of this motel & ask for a high deposit like you can do more damage to these rooms. Will never come back.

The staff was very nice, and the location was good. Free parking was great! Having a mini fridge and microwave was a plus.
The blankets were paper thin. There was no comforter or heavier type blanket. There was only 1 pillow per person and they were pretty small.

Location is central, comfortable bed.
Very thin walls, no coffee maker/coffee, no hair dryer, a drink from previous guest left in the fridge.

We've stayed at Sunparlour before, also in mid-May while birding at Point Pelee. The owners are always friendly and helpful. A bonus is the chance conversations in the parking lot with other birders.
We wanted cross-ventilation but couldn't open the front window. We tried to use the screen portion of the front door but had trouble with that, too. Finally everything worked out.

It was close to were we had to be.
Floors instead of carpet a bigger bed and Tv wires hanging down didn't feel safe. There was no breakfast it just seemed to be quite rundown. I probably would'nt recommend it. Rene

The location was central to where we needed to be. Period.
No breakfast, not even a coffeemaker in room to make a coffee or a tea! We we told in description that one would be there. Room had very bad smell and was dark and dingy. Carpet filthy. Exposed light bulb with no shade or fixture at entrance! Very skeevie! Will not recommend or return. Waited at front office forever for someone to come give us the key. Thought there was nobody there. It was an awful experience. Room did not look like photo on website. Very disappointing. They must rent rooms out to seasonal field workers because they were everywhere sitting outside the rooms and spoke no English when we tried to talk to them. Our room had only a push button lock, no dead bolt or entry card. I was worried leaving my things there to go find breakfast. It was the Worst motel/hotel experience of my entire 56 years. Plus, the office had no air circulation, was roasting hot as we had to give credit card for check in, my husband and I were soaked in sweat!! And it smelled so strong of cooking smells, like Indian food was being made right in the office! I can't tell you how terrible it was. Motel from hell.
3.5
Bbque accessible. Location is easy to find. Stores nearby.
