Room was mostly clean
Water was not warm. Elevator closed within seconds not allowing someone handicapped to get on safely. No breakfast and everything was worn out and has a weird smell

The pool looked nice but too many kids to enjoy it - should have been warned there was some kind of baseball camp before booking bc we wouldn’t have came if we knew.
We were in a tiny room, u could hear the kids next door all night and all morning and the front desk staff was so busy, u couldn’t catch him to see if we could get a diff room. We paid for breakfast but was never told to go into the bar and grill so we never got any food.

I travel to Jackson once a year for work. Victoria in the bar and restaurant greets everyone like we are in her home and always remembers me. I hope you take good care of her because she goes above and beyond. Constantly checking on everyone and in good spirits. The gentlemen that checked me in was excellent too. The cleaning lady (i cant remember her name) was a doll too and very positive.
I was there for a big meeting and spoke with many people that were staying at other hotels in the area and discovered that the Doubletree is much more expensive than other similar hotels. To buy close to $300 a night this year is over the top.

It is a Hilton property
It is dated and could use updates in some areas.

The bed is comfy!
The pillows are terrible! The floor was dirty in my room and there was a clothes hanger hanging from the lamp in my room!

Nothing is good about this property. Very pricey for what it offers. The hotel is old and needs renovation. Breakfast ends at 9:30 am on Sundays!

King suite was an like a studio apartment with sofa, a bar and barstools, mini fridge, sink, microwave, rain shower head, big screen tv, and desk. Paid for hot breakfast buffet at time of reservation over the free continental breakfast. Everything was good. Eggs 2 ways, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fresh grapes and sliced strawberries and great coffee! The restaurant had booths and served dinner as well. Location was a qtr mile or so off I-40 but tucked away and quiet.

staff was nice beds were good
it was exceptionally overvalued. for $300 I expect something pretty respectable. it reminded me of a holiday inn from the 1980s
