We stayed there for hockey game. We were getting noise complaints at 8 pm, and we weren’t loud.

In force rules you have posted everywhere

Continental Breakfast and pool

Staff let hockey teams run wild. Kept everyone up all night. They made a mess of everything and parents were drinking in the pool.

my stay was horrible I’ll never use a bestwestern again let alone in cold lake ab and also took extra money off the cred

nothing the worker were very rude

worker we’re very rude and the weekend breaksfast was horrible my whole family throw up for eating it and we were not informed that there was 4 hockey teams would be in this hotel as well and no where to park outside very poor on cleaning snow and ice my father fell going into his room

All of the things you need for a comfortable stay.

I stayed in the "motel" portion of the hotel for the first time and actually quite enjoyed it. It's the classic two story affair and is about 10 meters from the main building. It was very quiet and the amenities were the same as what you'd get in the hotel portion. There is a Sawmill restaurant on site for those who like their beef (there are other offering as well) plus an on-site liquor store and a games room with a fair number of VLTs (if you are into a little wagering). Handy location - right on the highway but it never seems too busy. You might also get to see or hear the odd F18 as the 4 Wing is stationed at Cold Lake.

This would be food related although the dinner I had at Sawmill was excellent. My only peeves would be that the tap beer selection isn't great. All the corporate brews are pretty much on tap but nothing in the way of craft beers. The other nit I have is that the "free" breakfast (only if you paid for it with the room) is only offered from 6 to 9 AM on weekdays although they do extend to 10:00 AM on the weekends. Being a retiree traveling for pleasure, it would be nice to amble in at a later hour. All in all, minor inconveniences...

Worst break fast ever , u guys at booking.com are thieves , i booked a room from ur website and gave me a different one , breakfast was not excitable at all cuz it wasn’t like any other hotels we had to pay 20$ to get breakfast Most hotels complimentary

Best Western comfortable suites but bad parking

The suite was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

The parking was terrible. We could not find parking because the bar/lounge beside the hotel shared the parking lot. Plus the patrons from the bar were loitering around the parking lot area and made it very uncomfortable to walk from the car to the hotel. Lots of vagrants.

clean, included breakfast was very convenient with a good variety and selection

The air conditioner in our room wasn’t working both days we did let the front desk know after the first night but it was not fixed and it was quite uncomfortable in the room both nights. Otherwise the stay was wonderful.

All in all a good stay except for the pull out bed mattress

Excellent breakfast

The pull out mattress was not good. The springs were felt through it which made for a very uncomfortable sleep.
