The sofa bed was broken, no blanket, no pillows. The sofa bed was repaired enough to sleep on, and a blanket and a pillow was provided. Our room was made available exactly at 4:05 and not a minute prior. The staff came to where I was waiting and assured me the room would be ready as soon as possible. The breakfast buffet was beyond excellent! Totally by accident, I was 7 minutes from my appointment. The location was excellent. Both the morning and night staff were excellent and provided service as soon as possible.
We drove quite far and long to stay at the Embassy Suites. We were not local. We were tired and pressed for a 5:30 appointment. The stress of our room not available until 4 and then delayed further by the sofa bed broken added to our frustration. Maintenance was called and arrived at 5:20 to inform us the bed was actually broken. We had to leave with the thought of "do they plan to fix it?" They were able to put it in working order for the night, as we found out when we returned. The front desk never answered their phone so we had to physically ask for a blanket and a pillow.

Location, the size of the suite, and the amazing breakfast!
Didn’t seem to have enough linens (out of blankets and sheets when asked for pull out couch bed)
Pull out couch bed very uncomfortable (used air mattress over it)

I paid more to book Embassy Suites Bloomington which is where all of the mall of America hotels are located. The embassy suites I thought we were booking is the "airport"
location. This should be renamed Bloomington and the location we stayed in should not be listed as a hotel in Mall
Of America. Our hotel was 15 minutes away from Mall of America. Very frustrated was sold to us as a mall of America location.
This was the worst embassy suites building I have ever seen. Wallpaper peeling off the walls, musty smell, dungeon rooms... this was not the luxurious stay I was expecting. Pull out bed needs to be replaced. Everything was dingy, old and outdated. And then when I tried to modify our booking I was told, "Sorry!"

The gathering area and breakfast.
There was 1 staff member that was very rude and snotty. when it came around 10pm everyone in the common area was told it’s quite time and any table being load that they would kick everyone to their rooms. The area wasn’t being load at all and this female staff member started yelling and walking around the common area to wrap things up and head to our rooms or outside. A very unpleasant night.

Good choice of items at breakfast including freshly made omelettes. A hot selection of sausage , bacon , scrambled eggs and potatoes
In the evening a couple of free drinks were available if you wanted them
Gym had enough equipment in and was never that busy
The room and hotel were clean but the decor seemed a bit tired and would benefit from being updated.
3.9
The reception and food areas were inviting and clean
the pullout sofa had a horrible and inefficient mattress. I lost sleep as I felt every spring Very, very, very uncomfortable. When I mentioned it upon checkout I was not offered compensation even when asked. I will contact the manager in the near future.

The breakfast was amazing. Will totally recommend.
Cleaning staff did not give extra toilet paper. They were extremely rude if they made us feel like we couldn’t ask questions other than the cleaning staff it was great.

Nice building
Bed was terrible , the room above us people were fighting screaming and crying all night long and when I told the guy at the front desk he should probably check on them he acted like I didn’t say anything . No coffee in the lobby when I left , even motel 6 has coffee ready at 5 am for working people. The bed was tiny parking was made for Toyota Prius sized cars

Easy to find, safe neighborhood
Offered market ( open 24/7), restaurant and breakfast buffet (free). The food was fresh and refilled often. They also had build your own omelette

The breakfast was okay and the location was good.
We booked the deluxe suite for 2 people. What they don’t tell you is the bed in there is so small it barely fits one person so that’s how they force you to pay for an upgrade.
They wouldn’t let me get a refund for the room since I needed a bed for 2 people. My choice was take the room with the one person bed or pay for the upgrade.
I think it’s a scam. The lady told me there’s nothing she can do other than have me pay for an upgrade. I paid for a room with a bed for 2 people but the bed was half the size of a queen bed really.
Also I have to say the hotel is very run down. The first room smelled like weed. It’s very musty everywhere and there’s a bad smell coming out of the sinks in the room.
I can see how this property was beautiful and gorgeous 20 years ago but they are not able to keep up with it. Go somewhere else and spare yourself the scam and the disappointment.

Rooms are comfy. Sofa sleeper wasn't great but fortunately I was able to use a second mattress from one of our rooms. Happy that this time we had towels and trash service without asking. Front desk people were interesting, quirky and kinda fun. We like the pool but are absolutely gutted that they got rid of their jacuzzi. FRESH MADE OMELETTES ARE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!!
We arrived at 11 to meet people, knowing we couldn't check in so early. No problem, they took our bags and told us they'd have our rooms ready at the normal check in time (4pm). We arrived back at 4pm but in fact it was a full hour after that before our rooms were ready for us. Had we known we couldn't check in at 4 we'd have stayed at our activity an hour longer. I understand they were full and the changeover takes time. We were told that part of the challenge was that we requested rooms close together (our clients are developmentally disabled, we need to be close. this was referenced in our original booking requests) I also understand that perhaps there aren't enough housekeeping staff to take care of such a full hotel. I'm just surprised that a Hilton property can't manage this. I think perhaps because we booked the hotel through booking.com we were put on a low priority level? Also not happy that we can't bring in our own food to eat in their atrium. We used to be able to do this before new management/owners. We always cleaned up after ourselves.

The room and the breakfast. The location was great.

Great breakfast and spacious rooms with sitting arrangements in room.
The curtain wouldn’t close completely so had to find props to keep them closed to keep dark in am.

Very reasonable
Everything was fine

It was great, but bookings told me the .pet fee was $25 a night. That is why I booked this room at this hotel. I thought the $292 covered everything, including our fog.
I don’t hav a problem with this property

Easy to find through the road construction. The kids liked the breakfast.

Friendly staff, great room, easy parking.
Dinner in bar wasn’t great! Salad seemed old and we couldn’t eat it. Would like more healthy choices.
We could have used another blanket.
Bar tender was great!

The space and clean area as well too
Nothing everything was perfect

Great location! Hotel smelled and appeared clean.
The breakfast did not offer turkey sausage. Only Embassy I've ever been that does not. To boot the staff said they did on our first morning only to find out the hotel never had it to begin with. Thumbs down from me.
3.9
Breakfast was delicious! Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious. The walk-in shower and hand-held head was convenient.
I wished the bed was a queen size instead of a double as a handicap person need the room. Would of been nice to have a tv in the living space. There were 3 in the room and only 2 sets of towels. When I tried to call for another set no one would answer the phone. Should be a note or communication that the main switch for the lights needs to be on so the lights work.

I loved the separate lounge area with sofa, wet bar, and tv! The beds were very comfortable. They had the best hot breakfast I've ever had at a hotel, which included made-to-order omelets!! I highly recommend this hotel!
We did need to carry our luggage down several steps (6?) to get to the elevator. But we managed. ;)
3.9
Breakfast omelet station was good
Manager lattice very very rude and nasty. Front desk never answered the phone. Didn’t ever have anything we asked for and pool area was closed the entire time. Bathroom very small no ventilation and rooms and building very cold
3.9
Nice environment, clean rooms, happy hour and breakfast.
Avocado toast was listed on the menu but not available because they were "understaffed"..then take the sign down!
3.9
everything was good but wish we could get the 1st floor room
3.9
As always, we love the breakfast buffet. Wonderful! Juice and Coke were out of syrup.
The rooms are up for updating. Checkout staff lady was not going out of her way to be friendly on a Sunday morning. Manager’s reception drinks were good, but the food was all gone and the time wasn’t up.

breakfast, and nightly appys and drinks were awesome!!
ice machines were inconvenient
