Never again South Hampton

The convenience of being around everything, being at the beach

This condominium didn't match the price. Very outdated, kitchen was very small, master bathroom was very small, furniture looked like it should've been replaced 10 years ago. Between stains and the pillows being flat. I am very disappointed and I have been coming for the last 3 years and this was by far the worst and the most expensive. Definitely don't feel I got my monies worth at South Hampton. When I got to the room, I called the service desk, and they weren't able to adjust the bill because I booked through Booking.com and had nothing else to offer me equivalent to what I purchased. So we had to make the best out of the situation because there was no refund. When I booked, if I knew this is what I was getting, I would've canceled while I still had the chance to get all my money back. There's sooo much more that I could say about this stay. You guys just need to do better. I work hard for my money, and we don't always get to take family vacations for one reason or another, and to see my hard earned money spent on trash pisses me off to the max. The more I think about it, the more upset I get. So I'm going to get off here because I'm done. It may be comfortable for some but not me. The whole atmosphere gives you cheap motel vibes. Giving you a freaking shopping cart for your belongings to get to your room. It's absolutely ridiculous. I have never 🙄

A stunning stay at Kingston Plantation Condos.

My room had all the accommodations you dream about on a vacation. The parking was safe and close. The surrounding area had all the activities for families, singles, and couples. The access to the pools and beach was easy. The scenic view from my balcony was stunning.

Fun and great location

The location and the resort

The supervisor at the end of the stay . She was extremely rude to us when we were just a few mins late for check out . She came banging on the door .

The location and pools

The villa was old there was roaches and you could hear everything someone done upstairs. Had to call management at 10:30 at night because of the noise and we had small children in our group trying to sleep

for years , the family has come to Kingston..but this was very disheartening!!!!!!

Nothing..it was a mess! the stay was terrible...doors broken...spider webs..could barely see...broken TV...in the room used for the hot water was full of old paint cans..and other junk..talking and walking in front of the door..late at night...did not feel safe...broken sliding glass door in front living area.

the whole experience was just wrong...it was really bad

It was very quiet and calming, yet a little bit too laid back!

I enjoyed the comfort and quiet feeling that I was at home. However my kids wished that there was a little more to do inside of the resort.

That it was only one water park in the whole resort! 😔

A small mistake that was made by charging me twice for the stay. One associate was gracious about it and worked to resolve the issue. Another associate was not so friendly and was a bit demeaning and condescending.

Room extremely filthy. No towels, Dirty comforter. Hair everywhere just filthy. Closet door broken. Fridge rusty. Furniture dirty and old.

Disappointing

We were given vouchers for the breakfast because our first room was so disappointing. The bed felt like there were exposed springs in the mattress , the lights in the bedroom were so dim that we couldn’t see anything (probably intentional), the couch cushions had no support and was unusable. The only chair we could use in the living room was one at the kitchen table. The lanai was disgusting. Dirty dishes in the cabinets. The light outside the unit did not work. We were moved to a different room and the mattress was better. Still not the cleanest. The staff was excellent and addressed our concerns with the first room. We were credited for that room. We stayed at this resort many years ago in one of the condos and were very happy. Laurel Ct is very disappointing. We most likely will not return.

Laurel Ct needs to be updated and thoroughly cleaned by the owners of the units. The owners of the resort should inspect the units after every use. The units are barely surfaced cleaned let alone deep cleaned.

Reception was amazing, the room was quiet and had everything we needed.

My friend and her family were a group of 5 and we were a group of 3. We reserved separately. However, the staff were very helpful in making sure we were on the same floor and our rooms were right next to each other. Even an added bonus, their suite and our room were connected!!!! This made the short vacation so much easier as the kids were able to come and go from one space to the other and we felt like we were all in the same unit. When we reserve again, we will be asking for the same set up each time and hope to be back very soon.

Well. We called between 8-830 to request a late check out. The gentleman on the phone said we were good until 1230. We were relaxing after attending breakfast at the main hotel and our door was opened by housekeeping. They said we were to be out at 11 and there was no record of our late checkout. Our family that booked the suite next door did the same thing, after us. I'm guessing because the units were the same number, but ours had an A after it, maybe there was a miscommunication. In any event, the supervisor was very rude and she implied that we were staying late without following the procedures. She even asked if we were planning to stay until 1230, which was our intention, but we did not appreciate the tone she took with us. I moved my son and our belongings to our friend's suite and my husband and I went straight to reception. When checked, our request for the late check out was immediately located, she apologized for the inconvenience. It's a shame it happened this way because we were really enjoying the stay and was considering paying for another day, even though we couldn't stay the whole night. Our resort fee was credited, and even though it was appreciated, it deflated our relax time before we were scheduled to depart. Also the coffee maker in our room did not work. (Big coffee drinker)

Horrible rooms

The friendliness of the staff.

This resort used to be a great place with nice condos/villas but this time I was moved to three different rooms and they were all horrible. Margate room-outdated, elevator smells like something dead in it, antique furniture, old kitchen appliances. Brighton building-nice lobby nicer looking furniture however they gave me a room where I didn’t need a key the door pushed right open. Third try, Brighton tower the door doesn’t open with keycard had to get maintenance to open the door, room is ok but when sheets were pulled back on beds there was someone’s hair in the beds, a roach crawled across the kitchen table while checking the kitchen out. Checked out and requested a full refund.

It was great!

For a 1 night stay the room was just right. The location was perfect. The whole resort was beautiful

That we couldn't stay longer. If I had to complain about anything it would be: Another plush chair in the room. Only had small chairs w/kitchen table. Maybe update to a bigger walk in shower.

it was great but someone didn’t let us in where the tunel were.

the property was clean.

when we went to the pool where the kids are were someone of the staff told me the i couldn’t enter because i had to pay an annual pass to get inside. On the next day i went to ask someone at the front desk and they told me that they don’t have such a thing like that later that day i went back to the pool and they let me get inside.

Overprized, low quality hotel.

the beach was ok.

the smell of urine and weed throughout the south Hampton hotel. The horribly worn and stained carpet in the room. The pricing is already too high for that outdated room, with the paint peeling off the bathroom ceiling and on top of that, you charge extra fees!! $350 per night?!! Not worth it!!
