Don't plan on staying again

The staff and service was all around excellent.

The hotel was very dated for the price. Bathroom shower was poorly patched up. Room smelled of smoke. Air conditioner was not working properly and it was 114*F while there.

Great hotel with friendly staff at an affordable price.

The price was right and the included breakfast was good. It had a good selection of hot and cold foods. Staff was all extremely friendly and helpful.

There were some items (clothing and trash) left in drawers by previous occupants of the room.

The worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I would like some compensation.

The rooms smelled bad, the ac wasn’t working at all. We were moved 3 times and all 3 times the ac wasn’t working. The front desk upon check in was rude and starting yelling that she was going to call the cops. It was terrible.

Nice place, great breakfast. Not a bad place to stay.

The rooms were clean. I like that there was a separate room with an extra TV and couch with a fold out bed. The free breakfast was amazing. They went above and beyond with the amount of food for their guests.

I requested for a quiet room, but my location was right near the freeway. I heard loud vehicles all night. The pool was dirty. I went for the swim the next morning and found a candy bar wrapper and hundreds of dead bugs in the pool.

Phoenix: Embassy Suites

Rooms were very spacious and clean, restaurant was good. Very convenient location in Tempe. Surprisingly quiet, as it is next to the freeway. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were very nice and helpful.

The water in the shower smelled a little odd, though I'm not sure if that was the hotel or if it was Phoenix. The pillows weren't the best.

We had an amazing time.

The staff was friend, breakfast was great and the location was central to everything during my visit. The hotel is clean and the landscape is amazing.

One entrance and exit into the breakfast area. It’s was crowded next to the omelette station.

The hotel has a lot of positives and it wouldn’t take much to bring it up to the next level.

I like the size of the rooms, the breakfast, the bar area and the outdoor lounge area. The housekeepers, the bartenders, and the breakfast workers are fantastic. The desk people could be better.

The sidewalks, halls, stairways, and elevators are in poor condition and dirty. It’s a long walk with luggage to some rooms, and the elevators aren’t reliable. I was disappointed by the desk personnel, who seem to struggle with more than one person at a time, even if two people are working.

Not worth the stay.

The beds were very comfortable.

The reception who checked us In and checked us out was so rude. Each time we had any interaction with her she was so awful. The ac in our room hardly worked. My shower was clogged and over flowed. There was hair on our lamp shade. We were told breakfast ran til 10 but it ended at 9. Over all not a good stay. The service definitely needs improvements.

I didn't know I had to pay for parking. 10.00 a night which is crazy. I wasn't even informed about this until check or time and I wasn't told but my daughter. I've never heard of a hotel charging for parking ever.The cleaning service knocked on the door at 9:20am the door was locked because we were getting dressed she tried opening the door even after saying to wait a minute since we all weren't dressed fully. Once I opened it and said we have till 11am to check out she laughed and said she'll be back at 11am as if she didn't try coming into the room without permission.

There seemed to be a lack of cleaning staff. There were piles of trash throughout the corridors. My room never got made and I noticed several rooms near me, who’s windows were left open, also had messy rooms.

I’d say this Embassy Suites ranks is one of my favorites

I travel frequently and usually try to stay at in Embassy Suites. This was the second time I stayed at this hotel in Tempe. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve had great selections and the omelettes were awesome. I have eaten dinner several times in the bar/restaurant. It is a limited menu, but is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Perhaps a more varied snack bar, some premade sandwiches, or little hummus snacks.

Would not make a return visit to this property.

Mediocre at best. Line too long to get omelette on second day. Only redeeming feature.

Room had an unpleasant odor and was dark. No outdoor area to escape smell and darkness. Ground floor with very noisy upstairs neighbors.
