The inside of Inn was beautiful.
It was great.

location
dirty, no fresh towels provided for the second day, had booked the executive suite only to find out on check it that it was no available in the winter months. Soured creamers for the coffee, garbage can and counter at the coffee station had not been cleaned for many days.

Beautiful old structure! Amazing wood details and typical Victorian tall ceilings!
Some of upgrades in washrooms not good quality or suited to the era/decor. Breakfast skimpy and not special at all with mold tasting watermelon… as a result….did not have our second day breakfast . Despite calling for help could not get DVD player working.

I couldn’t get a receipt from the hotel because they said it would come from booking.com. I’ve never received a receipt from booking.com. How can I get one?

the house was in a great location and it is a stunningly beautiful house
it is run by a few young lads who are not owners. this beautiful old house was so dirty. it’s such a shame that this magnificent place is not getting the care it deserves

What a beautiful historic inn! And the owners/staff were very attentive to details that made the stay outstanding. Even took our luggage upstairs which was very thoughtful. We had a view of the waters from our third floor large room. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Breakfast was delicious, and in lovely dining area which was nicely dressed with many choices for breakfast.
We'd left a few windows slightly open that night because we like the room cool for sleeping; unfortunately there was some disturbances outside in the middle of the night that woke us up, both around 1:30 am and then again around 3 am. Seemed highly unusual since the location is in a residential area. Our best guess is it had something to do with the large number of people in town for the marathon, who might have partied too much.

The Manager greeted us politely and was friendly.
The floors in our room (bedroom and bathroom) should have been dusted and also washed. The dust was very evident on the furniture and dust floated up when I picked up a dish on the desk. The Inn outside has been neglected with overgrown weeds and the lawn has not been mowed, paint is also peeling off the Inn. Inside the Inn should be dusted and washed down completely and a coat of paint on the windows would clean it up also.

usually do not leave bad reviews but this warranted it. My 75 year old Dad had to sleep on the floor. Accidentally booked a single bed and the young guy working there offered us no help! No cot, no mat, not even an extra blanket. He just stared at us blankly and said our only option was another single room for 200 dollars. No WiFi, we even tried to watch a DVD, but it didn’t work either. For the money....very poor service. I have run an Airbnb and would never treat a client like that. It felt like a bnb that was bought and it just a money maker for someone, no love.

the location was lovely, and the staff was kind enough
I imagine it couldn't have been their fault but there was a serious fire in the early morning hours, forcing us out of bed and out of the hotel at 5 am. We didn't get to have showers or use the bathroom or have breakfast. I have to be honest, I feel badly for them, I do, but I was very surprised to be charged for the stay under the circumstances. and we weren't at first, the charge just was applied to my credit card on September 22. We had stayed there because we wanted to use the bathroom in the morning, we have a water shortage where we live so the whole thing was a waste of money for us. We got to use the parking but then when we moved the vehicle to accommodate the fire trucks we were trapped on a side street for hours, again not their fault but....

The breakfast was late. We had to make several phone calls because when we came into the dining area, there was no one there and no indication that a breakfast was being made.

Nothing
We read poor reviews before we arrived and the appearance when we turned up made us want to drive away. It was depressing. The fact the Inn turned out to be closed because of a fire was a relief. Do not stay here

The property character was lovely
The hosts (3 young men) was not interactive and hardly spoke. I mentioned a problem with the bed and he just looked at me, never said anything.
The breakfast was very poor
When I went towards kitchen to ask for something one of the lads was clipping his nails right by the cooking area.

location was great- walkable
needs a good cleaning. upgrades are needed. beds were comfortable but bathrooms were not very well kept.

Nice spot..probably was at its best with the last owners. Blomidon is worth every penny. Good luck.
The detail wasn't there. Investment property..didn't feel the dedication!

The community was quaint and close to the main historic street. Breakfast was included.
The room in the out building was more akin to grandma’s old decrepit house. It really needs a thorough cleaning and some renovation to be up to par.

It was in a good location
Parking lot poorly lit for night arrival. Grounds need tending. Needs mowing. Room was dated and dirty. Surfaces were greasy and dusty. Pulled out bed to find a plug and saw 6 inches of dustballs. Room next to us sat outside late talking. Stayed here years ago and it was much nicer in all facets.

Perfectly located in walking distance of Wolfville’s amenities
The whole place needs a deep clean! Dust and grime in the public areas as well as the rooms. It appears the new owners are not caring for the place in the way in which the previous owners did.

Good location, nice staff but few present. Nice room size.
First time ever so probably bound to happen - my wife checked the bed upon arrival and found a blood stain and lipstick on the pillow case. Pillows, linens quite dated as was shower curtain. Perhaps new owners have updating to do first but cleanliness is essential. She called and received new sheets etc but damage was done.

very neat from a historic perspective but pretty expensive. Property is unfortunately not being kept up which is very sad. The breakfast is only from 8:30-10:00 so we didn’t have it. The sheets on the bed were very stained and the carpets are quite filthy; desperately need a clean or be replaced. The house is need of alot of TLC and repairs..could be fantastic with some care
neat historic building

Poor housekeeping, cobwebs, sink not draining, dirty window sills.
Loved the beautiful home, though afraid it will not be kept up
