This building is beautiful; we love it! The friendly and helpful staff elevate this Inn to an 'exceptional' ranking. We felt welcomed and very comfortable. The property is enormous and has a lovely firepit, a comfortable patio with ample seating, and a covered side porch which was a perfect spot to have our morning coffee. There is free wifi, coffee, tea and associated supplies.

Very clean place.
7.0
Historic building, property and location.
Minimal access on one side of bed. It seemed more a double than a queen. Access to electrical facilities to charge phones, etc difficult.

The house is beautiful and well equipped with beautiful yard and backyard views.
We appreciated the owners request to not wear street shoes. We brought and wore slippers. We suggest the owners add to the request that hard soled shoes also are loud on the wood floors. We could hear other guests walking on the floors very early in the wee hours while we slept.

Freedom to use all of kitchen facilities

Historic old farmhouse with appropriate decor
Beds not comfortable. Little room in bathroom. No place to put clothes or suitcases. crowded kitchen.

Mediocre breakfast. Locatiin was okay.
When we arrived the fridge was hidden behind an open door. We placed all of our food in the freezer thinking it was a fridge. Frozen apples, blueberries etc.
Our bedroom door did not lock. When we asked for help the email told us to pull it in when locking it (as though we were that incompetent. ) Two men ( our friend we travelled with and me) pulled the door in and it still didn't lock. We had to leave all of our belongings unlocked for the entire stay.
Nothing worse than visiting a bed and breakfast with no one around. No one ever did come to repair the door. Who do you ask about the region you are visiting? Relationship is often the most satisfying part of staying in a bed and breakfsst. At least hotels have someone around to talk to
even if only at the front desk. Never again will we visit a bed and breakfast with no proprietor present. Overall, it was a most dissatisfing stay.

A truly charming home with all the wonderful touches that makes it feel just right. Everything went smoothly and I found that I felt truly at home. I grew up in an older home like this one and I felt like I was in my own wonderful time capsule. Yet everything is up to date and totally tasteful and in keeping with the era of the home. 5 stars and will happily be a repeat customer. You could shop and cook in the ample kitchen with all the tools and dishes. A brilliant touch.

Breakfast was exactly has stated, bagels and coffee. However bonus juice was available. Kitchen was amazing
I can't think of anything I would change. The house was beautiful, the character was so perfect

location was convenient; heritage charm of outside;
Noise travels, especially in downstairs bedroom. Upstairs guests had a very early start Saturday morning, wearing hard sole shoes. Then a friendly boisterous breakfast in the dining room beside our bedroom, all before 7:45am.
Secondly, I couldn’t figure out what we got as an upgraded queen suite. Bed is a petit queen, room small and shower is compact, especially for large person.

Nice old house. Easy check in. Clean. Good coffee.
Breakfast needed a little more diversity. Bed could be bigger.

Breakfast options were great . We liked that we had use of the coffee maker for a wonderful cup of coffee in the morning. Sitting on the porch with coffee in hand was so relaxing ! And a fridge to keep our wine cold ! Awesome !

It would be a great place to lodge at if you were staying for a week or so
For example it has a fully operating kitchen and other amenities
B&B classification is a stretch
It’s more like an Air B&B

From the moment I booked the room the owners were in touch and making sure everything was great before arrival. Offered tips on restaurants and local area. So quiet and clean and perfect location to the Pelee island Kingsville location. Such a great time,

Safety hand rail in the shower would be nice.

very clean, nice decor, everything well explained with notes and signs, easy access, lots of parking, recommendations for dining, etc included, host/hostess response time was immediate
the upstairs bedroom was warm. We could have used a floor fan in the room to circulate the air

The property is clean comfortable and well located.
The owners go above and beyond to accommodate guests. They are so friendly and personable and patient.
It's an old house but it has everything you need for a very comfortable stay.
For me cleanliness is most important and the mattresses. I was very pleased with both.
Slept great. You must check out Cindy's across the road too.

Beautiful historic house, antique furniture and property. Great location on the edge of scenic Kingsville. We enjoyed being independent and looking after our own breakfast, etc

The breakfast was do it yourself because the owners were never seen. We didn't mind using the coffee maker and toaster with the food provided in the fridge. A freezer was also available for use.
The location on a minor road into Kingsville was convenient but not scenic
We were comfortable enough. The twin beds were fine. The room was very cramped with little space.
The bathroom was very good with nice shower and warm water
The communication was inadequate because codes were required to open the front door and to enter our room. These codes were sent by email and too late in the day. On our arrival, we could not reach the owners on the telephone number they provided. Finally we got the codes by email. Another elderly couple could not manage the codes, either, and just left in disgust.
