They went the extra mile covering all your needs.
Nothing.

Perfect location near the Union Square! Everything was so great starting from the cleanliness which is the most important, the stuff which was very helpful and informative about everything needed.
Nothing worth mentioning.. everything was perfect during my two night stay only positive grade A+
Maybe the breakfast should be included in the price but it is not big deal.

Comfortable bed and comforter. Very clean. AC worked wonderfully. Bathrobes we're a delight. Lighting was adjustable from several lamps. Everything indeed looked elegant.
Small pillows. No lotion in bathroom Despenser. Would be nice if there was a foot rest in the shower for women who shave legs. No safety handle in all marble floored shower.

The room was amazing and the little extras
We were pleased we chose this hotel and fortunately found good eateries around us but not next to obvious restaurant choices

Beautiful, clean and great rooms. Staff is also very nice. Great location will stay there again.

The lobby is beautiful, really nice area to sit and eat breakfast or just chill.
The manager is very professional and genuinely seems to care about hotel guests.
I moved rooms 3 times in 3 nights. I have never, ever been one to complain so this was out of the ordinary for me. I was first put in room 209 which is directly behind all of the air conditioning units for the building, overlooking a small alley. This room felt very claustrophobic due to the outlook and I genuinely believe it should have a rate of its own (reduced). However, the room also had a damp odor which was very off-putting, hence, I asked to move.
I then moved to a room with the same outlook but higher up, which was fine, however, during the middle of the night, the air con cut out and I woke up in a sweat. The bathroom windows open so was able to get some air, but the street noise and air con noise was not all that enjoyable and I was unable to sleep.
I then moved to a much nicer room (I believe it was a King) where there was no smell and the air con worked perfectly. If my experience of my last night was what I experienced for the entirety of my stay, it would have been amazing.
I’d recommend avoiding the small queen rooms, even as a solo traveller and opting for the king. I assumed a queen would be sufficient for a solo traveller with only carry on, especially for the price I was paying, but it seems these rooms are the ones with the air con unit/alley way outlook and they are definitely on the smaller size.
Otherwise, the manager was fantastic and accommodating when I spoke to her about these issues. She resolved my complaints quickly and was very professional in her communications with me. I did not feel like I was a burden at all. I ate breakfast in the lobby bar twice. The coffee was quite good for American coffee (Australian coffee standards are high, so I’d say this was one of the best coffees I had in my 5 weeks in the states), and the breakfast choices were simple but enjoyable. The location was central but definitely bordering sketchy territory.

Clean ..friendly..beautiful room

I loved everything, starting from the deco to the confortable bedroom. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. I just loved everything.
I life everything just the surrounding of the hotel was so unpleasant due to the homeless and the trash on the streets.
4.2
My room was 80 degrees. It was supposed to be a relaxing trip but ended up stressing me more out. My restroom was semi clean. I could see crevices of dirt in the shower, my trash Can had no trash bag.
4.2
The rooms were comfortable and the hotel is pretty quiet despite being located in a busy area.
The hotel seemed understaffed and employees unhappy. There is no hotel parking even though it was advertised as such. Amenities were also lacking, given the price.
4.2
It was a fun young style hotel. The room was clean and super comfy. Staff was great, loved the welcome cookies and drinks. We got to use the bikes as well which is a very nice touch.
No private parking. It did have an off smell on the hallways (similar to cat litter smell) I was fine with it but my husband has a more sensitive sense of smell and it bothered him.
4.2
Very comfortable bed with comforters. Delicious pineapple cookies and cute pineapple decor
Our room had wood floors with a very heavy odor of dog urine… I woke up 3 times to apply Vic’s vapor rub under my nose and that was after using a good amount of downy wrinkle release on the bedding, pillows and curtains. I like dogs but don’t want to sleep in the same bed as one.
4.2
A nice room if rather small, bathroom well equipped, bed was comfortable. Wifi good.
Location near to Union Square, and Powell Bart Station for access from the airport.
Streets not so clean and several homeless people make a noise through the night outside the hotel.
4.2
The rooms were so so comfortable and cozy! the staff were so lovely and the property is genuinely one of a kind! We arrived so exhausted early in the morning and they kindly gave us an early check-in and upgraded our room. So so grateful!
Nothing we didn’t like.

The staff were amazing and very helpful.
The neighborhood is full of homeless and not safe.
4.2
ants in the room and carpet wasn’t cleaned properly.
4.2
We loved the bedding and bed! I didn't want to get out of bed to leave it! Loved the character and charm of the hotel and all of the front entry and lobby was beautiful! The door lock at 7pm and you feel safe. Nice bars and restaurants all around. Even though people report it is a questionable neighborhood, it's exactly what you expect in a downtown neighborhood with history.
The bathroom is small and the rooms are on the smaller side, BUT the charm and character of the hotel make up for that as it is not your typical new build hotel. The furniture and everything inside is everything you need and more! The

Loved all the pineapple decorations and the bed was super comfortable
Parking is a hassle but if u read the streets signs it explains the times you can and can’t park
4.2
beautiful hotel with very comfortable beds/pillows and bedding. nice amenities in room.
having to walk past the homeless people on the way.
4.2
Great hotel and great staff. Very clean and well managed place.
You have to know that there's many homeless people in that area and that it feels uncomfortable to be outside the place once it gets dark.

Nothing, this place is awesome!

A quirky, art deco style hotel with a central location near Union Square. Good value for money given the above
4.2
great hotel free water and a pineapple cookie.
love that they allow dogs in
the room was a bit small

Hotel was nice, the people are friendly. Everything was clean.
The area that the hotel is in is very rough. The hotel locks its doors at 7.00pm. You do not want to hang around outside. There is dog muck on the street and lots of homeless people and pot heads wandering about. There is a good taco place opposite though for a breakfast burrito.
