Disappointing

Staff was great 👍

The price is to high for what the place has to offer. The room had no key to lock it, the toilet not really clean, a bit crowded and noises.

our stay was overall fairly poor. would not recommend.

very cheap place to stay in a decent location to downtown. that’s about it.

very dirty and very noisy. kept up at night until early hours by other guests, bedrooms and bathrooms both very dirty and somewhat disgusting, especially the floors. but you get what you pay for.

it’s a really old house, our room is in the basement floor, the room was dark , hot and not clean, the bed sheet were on the floor; especially the bathroom was dirty and the sheet are all over the place; there are noise until 1am

Super friendly backpacker youth hostel

Very friendly staff.Ben is an amazing manager ,he knows his job , as well as Hozumi both were amazing and friendly They gave fresh towels,delicious pancakes ,and helped me upgrade a room due to some technical reasons...

Very good

The hostel was really clean, I appreciate the effort of all staff who keep the place always clean. Kitchen utensils always were available, thanks again. Your coffee is amazing, I loved it.

During the nighttime, people in the hostel were doing excessive sounds.

Great stay in Kelowna

The location is perfect and the staff is very friendly. I stayed for 3 nights. There are free bicycles to use and I took advantage of that to explore Kelowna.

The bathrooms floors should be cleaned regularly.

I had a great time with my stay. Everyone was very nice and welcoming, will definitely visit again.

Location was fantastic, very easy to get around. I was happy about the free available parking near by.

Could have been more accommodating with paper towel or hand towels in the bathrooms to dry hands after washing.

Great atmosphere if you're traveling alone and want to meet people.

Free breakfast and coffee and the location. Staff were very friendly and it had a great atmosphere. Met lots of people. It was super clean. One of the cleanest hostels I've ever stayed at.

There was no a/c or fan in the room, but the room was in the basement so it was cool enough.

Great Hostel, steps from the Beach

Very nice and clean Hostel. The staff is very friendly. The Manager is doing an amazing job maintaining and improving the place, even though the pandemic only allows him to use the bottom beds in the dorm rooms (50% capacity). He went out of his way to accomodate me. The best hostel in Kelowna for sure.

Location was decent.

On arrival we asked the girl who checked us in about parking. On this website and hostel world, parking is advertised as included and free. She stated, parking was free on the street, but only for 1hour. After that bylaw would ticket you. We ended up finding paid city parking about a 15min walk away. Also, we stayed in a 3 person private room in the basement. It was winter, and the room did not have any vents, meaning it was not heated! The three of us ended up wearing our sweaters and hats to sleep. The next night we found a cracked space heater in the closet. Presumably this was the heat source for the room. But also a fire hazard. Finally, no public health measures were being followed. At no point did the staff or other guests wear a mask. The hostel was running at full capacity. High touch surfaces were not being cleaned. No hand sanitizer was available. And guests were partying and drinking is the common areas following no physical distancing measures.
