Good location, clean rooms.

Close to the freeway.

The heater/air conditioner made noise all night. The bed was too soft . They didn't have a breakfast, I would have paid extra for that.

born & raised in Jan Jose, familiar with Hotels location. Room is quiet slept with no interruptions.

A Continential Breakfast was offered, although did not participate. I meant with friends for morning breakfast.

Except for poor TV options, it was fine.

Room, garage parking, and food available nearby.

TV options need to be upgraded. Inability to watch Turner Classic Movies and Golf Channel may cause me to stay elsewhere in future.

power failure at 2:00AM made the room cold and the breakfast nonexistent

The room was better than I expected. The staff was accomodating.

Water in the shower doesn't get very hot. The fan/light in the bathroom is super loud.

A comfortable, reasonably-priced older hotel close to everything with a friendly staff and easy park

Location is excellent, close to everything I wanted. The staff is really friendly and helpful, parking underneath in the garage is safe and out of the heat.

Super cute hotel!

This is a really cute hotel! It has a parking garage below the hotel with an elevator directly up to your rooms. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the Continental breakfast but we would definitely stay here again.

I didn't find any ice machines and had to go to the 1st floor to use the vending machine. It would be convenient if there was one on every floor.

I ASKED WHEN I CHECKED IN , DOES THE ROOM HAVE A Jacuzzi tub , Advised YES IT DOES !! I GOT TO THE ROOM,THE TUB DID NOT WORK.. CALLED FRONT DESK, ADVISED HIM OF PROBLEM… HE CAME BACK AT ME AND TOLD ME “ YOU DIDNT ASK IF THE TUB WAS IN WORKING ORDER “

Nice place, great value.

Very nice hotel

The hotel was very clean and the location was great for us as it was only an 8 minute drive to our daughter’s house. Also the underground parking was nice.

When we checked in we were told that there was a “grab and go” breakfast that we could get at the front desk. So the next morning my husband went to the front desk and asked about getting the breakfast. The young man told him that they didn’t have anything like that. So two days later on the morning we checked out the woman at the front desk asked him if we wanted the breakfast. Not a big deal but they need to educate all their employees about their amenities.

The Carlyle is a simple hotel that is a friendly place to stay.

Everything was as expected. We wanted a nice place to spend the night, and the Carlyle fit our needs just fine. Our King size bed was very comfortable.

The Hotel was rather hard to find, but we are from out of town, and it was very late.

Nice little Cul de Sac in an excellent location

Courteous staff, clean rooms, excellent staff, great location, great old world theme!

The furnishings and carpeting are getting a bit old and should go through a renovation.
