Wonderful location on a beach with the most stunning sunrises and sunsets. Very nice layout of the buildings. Great restaurant basically on the beach with delicious food and nice atmosphere. Room was very spacious and clean, had all we needed.
The facilities are all a bit old but clean and well-maintained.

the only hotel on Molokai, it was clean, beautiful grounds and well run.
No - zero food available on Monday’s and before 11:30am. it is 2mi to town which has limited options, especially Sunday and Monday. we came off of a boat and had no idea there would be no food available. there is a microwave and refrigerator and dishes etc. but if you don’t know that you need supplies or that the grocery closes at 2 on Sunday and most places are closed on Monday, it can be a problem. it should be made very clear that food options are restricted.

everything
the one bartender that would never tell us her name. we tried hard to be nice but she was miserable. we were not the only guest to notice. we all discussed it around the pool. she needs to be more friendly!

I wish they offered breakfast every day!! Breakfast is only available on Sundays, but it is outstanding!
The property, like much of all of the Hawaiian Islands, is full of roosters, who feels an intense need to start crowing at around 3:30 each morning. Outside of that, we all absolutely loved everything about our stay! The hotel and restaurant staff are extremely friendly, helpful, professional, accommodating, and efficient. A+ for them all!

Cozy and true Hawaiian feelings
Not like staying Waikiki as many tourists imagine, I loved staying with you
and restaurant staff was really friendly. Saimon deluxe was so nice.
The AC was a little noisy, but still acceptable

Beds were great very comfortable as were the pillows couldn’t ask for better. Nice location on the beach.
Wi-Fi was poor. There was nowhere to get a coffee. Needed a car as restaurant was closed on a Monday and too far to walk to nearest store.

The people at the front desk and the restaurant weren't very helpful. We felt not very welcome.

The on-site restaurant is very good, not overly pricey for the islands and the waterfront seating has you 6ft from the water…lovely😎.
We also had a waterfront room and repositioned our patio table and chairs closer to the water for evening cocktails 😉.
Just an FYI… The restaurant is closed on Mondays, so you must Send for yourself! The meal options in town are not that plentiful or for that matter not that great, more to fill a hole than anything else! Also, if you like us and like your evening cocktails it’s a smart move to pick yourself up a bottle of whatever your pleasure is and bring it back to the hotel and mixing your own drinks.
The commuter puddle jumpers allow you to bring whatever you want on the plane as there is no security so don’t be afraid to take that bottle of your favorite libation with you to the next island!😉
One final note, not a lot to do on the island. That said, do yourself a solid, and visit Greg and his family at Halawa Valley Tours for a cultural tour and waterfall hike. It will be the highlight or at least one of the highlights of your trip to the Hawaiian islands! Well worth the money! Just do it!!
Water pressure in the bathroom was very weak. In window air conditioner struggle to keep the room cool but it was doable. And the property in general is getting a little long in the tooth by that I mean that it could definitely use a refresh! Still though very comfortable to stay here really, no complaints.

Such friendly staff! At the front desk, in the restaurant and the gardeners, everyone was so nice. Gardens are beautiful. Waterside location is great.
Bed was not up to par—very rickety. WiFi was sl-o-o-o-w. Hearing children shrieking for hours at the pool near our room. Hearing people clomping around in the room upstairs.

facilities were great and beautiful. Very clean too. The hotel itself is really pretty and well built.
Pool was great.
horrible value for money - extremely expensive.
No breakfast - and nothing accessible besides a vending machine, nothing in range to walk to.
Shower didn't work one day.
Internet access was very poor.
Restaurant hours were awkward

The only hotel on Moloka'i close to the main hub of the Island provides excellent rooms and a peaceful space to stay. The property is made up of triangular houses containing multiple rooms in the ground and first floor. The room was clean, rather spacious and comfortable including a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and cups. On the ground floor the room has a small patio outside in the back in a garden-like area and free wild chicken will come visit you for crumbs they can eat (but don't feed them).
The location is along the south coast of Moloka'i but still very good for trips in any direction. The staff was very helpful in case you had questions or needed any sort of help. In the lobby there is also a small shop where you can buy small necessities and directly next to it is Moloka'i Outdoors where you can review maps of the island and organise special gear or trips if you'd like. This place was perfect for me travelling alone as I felt safe and comfortable on the rather rough Island. Directly on the property is Hiro's Ohana Grill (closed mondays) with very kind staff and delicious food, they also have a few vegetarian items.
When the restaurant is open and full it might be a bit challenging to find a parking spot on the property, especially in the evening.

everyone was very kind, and the location was perfect for a central hub around the island! I would definitely stay here again- the facilities/rooms were a little dated, but Molokai itself is dated: it’s a slow lifestyle. It’s a beautiful, ocean-front location, and everyone is super accommodating. it’s also amazing having the car rental/shuttle option through Molokai Outdoors- so much better than going through Alamo. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Very cosy community areas to relax. Wonderful view from the pool area and very nice feeling on the whole complex.
It was easy to get to the Hotel with a rental car and to move around the island.
Very comfortable bed!
The WiFi was not really working well.
On the first day the on-site restaurant was closed (Monday) so it was only possible to get food in the village nearby.

I loved the calm atmosphere, the friendly staff and that they have Molokai Outdoors at the hotel itself. This made my whole stay very easy to organise.
It was a pity that there was no breakfast included/offered or only on Sundays at the restaurant. Otherwise everything perfect.

Good hotel, staff is super friendly.
But bathtub need to refinished- current paint is peeling.
Didn’t like that you need make reservations for hotel restaurant for getting waterside table. I get there at 5.30 and all tables by water were reserved….
Guests staying at hotel should have priority.

The bed was very comfortable and I loved being able to take a bath
The price was high for such a small simple room in the interior. I would have liked to stay two nights but couldnt afford it.
