A fine stay

It's an old building but they are doing their best to keep it functional and comfortable. If you're the kind of person that gets upset because there's no chocolates with your turn down service, don't stay here. If you're fine with a clean, old building, this place is great.a

It was fine for what I needed that night and was the cheapest available in the town at $150 or so.

The people who own it were very friendly, the place was very clean, the bed was comfortable.

The lights from outside shined in the room all night and I couldn't get the room dark with the style of blinds in the window. And for a long time into the wee hours their was traffic noise - it did have the windows open as I wanted fresh air.

It was comfortable and decorated so beautifully.

The people were very sweet. We were escorted to our room and provided with a close parking spot. The room was so quaint and adorable. The bed was SUPER comfortable. Everything we needed was there for us. And the water pressure was amazing.

Nothing could have been better. All was good.

too expensive for what it offers

staff and Location

small tight upkeep needs to be redone and cost for 1x night to high for one bed very old fashion one night should be about 5$55-60 per night not over 100 I think it’s the fleecing of summer time motels/ hotels are inflating their price !!!

Great little place, but overpriced

The location was great. The staff was very friendly.

It's a little overpriced. I realize that we went during the peak fall foliage, but if I didn't have over $200 in credit through booking.com I would never have stayed there for $286 per night. The room was small, and the beds were small. It's kind of old and the decor was old-fashioned.

Clean, decent value

Clean, staff friendly. Room and bathroom good. Very nice for an older motel.

TV reception was bad. Some of the other guests looked a bit sketchy. Decent value, but a little high IMO.

a narrow sloping porch outside the door, then very steep steps to the parking area. I would not recommend this place for anyone with limited mobility

Very good

Friendly staff and great location. Short walking distance from downtown, the Bennington Museum, First Parish Churchyard, and local eateries. Very clean. Not luxury accomodations by any stretch, but solid, basic amenities at a great location and a great price.

Nothing stands out, pleasant stay.
