Nice location but needs updating.

I enjoyed the proximity to campus and downtown Iowa city. It is very easy to get everywhere from the Graduate and most places are walkable. The staff were incredibly friendly and willingly to help with any issues or concerns.

The property itself could use some updating. This was my second time staying at the graduate and now that I have children, I was less impressed with the cleanliness of the property. The first room we were given smelt moldy/musty and the sink/tv area were dirty (had makeup and crumbs on them). The second room was a bit better but I still found dirt on the counters and hairs in the bathtub.

Great place! No access to amenities such as snacks, water, toothbrush/paste. They need to add a sh

Great central spot, and well kept, but you need to know you will not get sleep if it’s a weekend.

It was right in the heart of everything, and well kept with great staff.

It was one of the loudest hotels I’ve ever been to – Thur, Fri, Sat nights are all college going out nights right out the window, and a lot of college kids stay there. The last night they were partying until 4am, and then the cleaning staff started moving furniture and clanging things at 5. It was rough, sound wise.

This is a great college town/capital city hotel that shows some of the best of Iowa.

Location and character of hotel were great. Brandon was excellent at trying to fitx our broken AC to no avail but hotel made it up to us and fortunately not too hot that evening. The location is tremendous putting you in a much livelier Great collcollege scene than we imagined

Proximity to the pedestrian mall and Iowa campus.

My first stay a year ago was great. This one, not so much.

The location is wonderful. The thematic decor is great.

It started with a LONG wait to check in. The shower was Luke warm at best. The other guests were making a lot of noise in the halls. Then I got an unexpected surprise at the price charged. IT was not what I thought I had agreed to.

Great location in a city with tons to do. We’ll be coming back soon to visit the new UI art museum.

Considering the location, the price isn’t bad.

My credit card was accidentally double charged at first but after contacting the accounting dept they fixed the issue. I think this issue occurred because I booked my room thru a third party site. Ended up not getting charged for parking so that was cool.

The location was perfect, but the room was okay.

I love the location and nostalgia of the property.
