A warm and comfortable stay.

Clean bed makes our stay so comfortable. I love the rustic style from everywhere. Host is very nice and giving us info of where to go around towns. The breakfast tastes delicious with various choices of food. Excellent choice for couple getaways.

Relaxing

My stay was excellent and made my visit to beautiful Muskoka memorable. Bev and John are fantastic hosts. It was definitely the place I needed to rest and recharge after a long conference week in Niagara Falls and before heading on to further work commitments.

Exceptional

Breakfast was our choice and delicious. Great host and just outside of the town so you get peace and quiet. During the day before we went for dinner we had deer grazing outside our window. Great experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bear and Butterfly B&B. Bev went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and anticipated our every need. The breakfasts were so good ( especially the home made bread and wild strawberry jam). We found a gem with this B&B and can’t wait to go back.

The place is lovelly and the owner makes the best breakfasts!

The owner is amazing, she will make everything she can to help you have a good time at her's and will answer to all your questions. She even suggested us activities to do that we have no idea they existed. The house is great, and the breakfast is as good as the owner put love in it. She makes the best pancakes and the homemade bread alone is worth the trip!

If you can, select the bigger room (the most expensive one), as it is way bigger and way brighter than the other. Hot tub can not be used after 9PM.

Looking forward to revisit in summers. excellent stay!

The hosts, Beverly and John, made sure we had a comfortable stay. Bev called and told us upfront that we should be getting winter/snow clothing as it snowed the previous day. She was a saviour otherwise we wouldnt be able to enjoy Mushkoka. The property location is amazing and the room was super clean. Loved the breakfast prepared by Bev herself. She provides with lots of choices for breakfast.

Home away from Home!

Bev was an amazing host! The place is quaint and peaceful. Beautiful property that is close to all amenities yet far enough that you feel remote. Can’t say enough about the service, breakfast and comfortable rooms. ♥️

Great experience, lovely hosts, definitely will be coming back :)

We loved our room so much! The decor and furnishings were very comfortable, there is a lot of love put into this lovely place.

The only minor gripe was the size of the bedroom pillows - they're big and fluffy which is great unless you're my wife and need flat boards to lay your head down. Very minor.

The accommodations and Hosts are Exceptional! Had a Wonderful Stay!!

This was our 1st experience at a B&B. Our hosts Bev and John went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make our stay a wonderful experience. They were exceptional hosts and exceeded our expectations.

Honestly their is nothing that sticks out in my mind that I would recommend the host change.

The Perfect Quiet Getaway

A quiet, beautiful and excellently located B&B. Beverly is a lovely host and very knowledgeable about the area. She takes care of her guests and puts thought into all the little details. So close to Gravenhurst and Bracebridge, lots to see and do. All that you want in a B&B and more! Thank you for making our anniversary getaway a wonderful time!

Excellent. Wud go back!

Neat screened porch dining location. Fresh fruit cups excellent. Each bott was well prepared.

We were disappointed that hot tub was not open yet due to Covid restrictions. It was a feature in advertising. They are in process of upgrading grounds and apologized for state of flowerbeds due to rain and deer munching their lovely hosts.

The butterfly room is very clean and comfortable than any other B&B we experienced before. The breakfast was delicious. Beverley is a very kind host who gave us many uesful travel information. It felt like home. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
