The pool area was incredible and better than expected. Waterfalls, multiple hot tubs, a waterslide.
The room was very large and had a kitchenette. The rooms and bathroom were really nice.
Located right next to the food truck park, and a grocery store which is really great bc it is incredibly expensive to feed a family of four in Hawaii if you have to eat out.
Needs to be stairs from the second floor to the lobby bc the elevators take too long sometimes and I’d rather just walk down a flight of stairs

My family and I loved the room. It was HUGE! With a sofa bed for our 13 year old daughter. The bathroom was tremendous and we really enjoyed the rain shower-head. The room included all the amenities we needed.
The room could use a bit of an update but hey... how much time are you planning to spend in your room while visiting Hawaii?

I would highly recommend the Hilton Vacation club for your stay in Maui. They offer great value for the money. The accommodations more that met my expectation. I stayed in a one bedroom king suite with a sleeper sofa. We have a garden/pool/ocean view. The landscaping is very good. There are numerous small water falls surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. Parking and wifi was free. The suites at the higher end hotels down the street were 3 to 4 times more expensive. Of course they have better beach fronts, and higher end accommodations. But what I had was more than enough to make my family and I very happy. This trip was all about site seeing on Maui. We drove to the garden of dean, the inactive volcano, Lao Valley (famous batter site where King Kamehameha won control of the Island. Went snorkeling with the sea turtles and tropical fish and drove ATVs through a rough mountain course. I really enjoyed coming back to our room every night having plenty of room to relax in comfort. There was dinning table with four chairs, a small kitchen (minus a stove) with a microwave and fridge. The kitchen had everything you would need, plates, knives, forks, cups, and glasses. And there were free washers and dryers on every floor.
There was only one washer and dryer per floor. I would have much preferred a central location with all the washers and dryers together. I had to go to other floors to find a free washer and dryer. So I had to hop on and off the elevator with my load of laundry looking for a free machine.

Pool and hot tub were excellent with lots of chairs available.
Room was really nice, and we loved having the kitchenette, which was very well stocked with every dish, tool, and appliance we needed. We were also very happy with temperature control in our rooms and really liked the ceiling fans to keep air circulating.
We loved watching the whales "play" in the ocean, from the pool area.
Great location and close proximity to restaurants, shopping and Lahaina.
Would have loved to have an onsite full-service restaurant.
Experience with concierge varied as the 1st person we talked to was friendly and helpful, but the 2nd person barely had the time of day to help us make a luau reservation after we turned down the timeshare presentation offer. I also wish they had been able to make recommendation besides the ones that were tied to the standard "offers or coupons". There were a lot of great restaurants nearby that we found doing our own research.

The Kaanapali Beach Club is a beautiful property in a great location. We were able to be placed in 2 rooms on the same 11th floor. The suites are spacious, the kitchens easy to use with many supplies available, and the beds very comfortable. The suites were all very clean - we did not have cleaning services during our stay, but they provided changes of towels or any supplies we needed. The pool and spa area were only crowded in the middle of the day, and the restaurant had easy access to lots of tables to watch the sunset or look out over the pool. All in all a well maintained property and easy access to sightseeing and snorkeling. We've stayed here many times before - and have always enjoyed our stay!
When we arrived, we were notified Maui County was having a water problem - and there was not water in the upper floors of the resort. We wish the staff had been more proactive in offering solutions. They finally gave us water bottles and let us shower in another room after our long day of traveling - but only after we insisted. I only wish they had offered that on their own - something we hope they will do in the future!

great location and facilities.
for two of the three days we stayed there was no water in our room (or in any room above floor 6). We received differing reasons as to why but it comes down to poor maintenance. It was deeply concerning that we could not flush our toilet or have water from the tap to wash our hands. There was no attempt from staff to offer any solutions to this health and safety issue.

loved the rooms, facilities, and the pool best of all.

The rooms are huge and have everything I need for a nice/quick breakfast without having to spend a lot on restaurants. Pool was great - had a slide, 2 jacuzzies, volleyball net.
The hotel aesthetic is outdated, but I dont care about that. Not that many cultural activities and everything has a fee.

Suite was well appointed, very clean and loved the views. Liked we were able to walk to the beach directly from the resort. Conveniently located. Pool was ideal. The staff went out of their way for us.
We did enjoy the mini-restaurant on site that offered food you could order and pick up and eat either in your room, pool side or in the bar area. Really wish there was a full sit-down restaurant on premises.

location was great, pool was fantastic
the beach was closed due to shoreline remediation works, the hotel is dated on the outside and they didn’t make the room once during our 7 day stay!

great location beach front property close to restaurants and other activities
the room was spacious
the pool was beautiful and relaxing
the concierge helped to get us a discount and book some nice activities
the bell staff greeted us kindly and took our bags up to our room
I tried to contact the property because this was my honeymoon to put flowers before we arrived however no one got back to me.
when we checked in they tried to give me a double bed even though I booked a king with ocean view, they were able to find a king room but failed to mention it was only a partial ocean view.
we booked a time share presentation that was suppose to be only 2 hours and no pressure but it ended up going 3 hours plus and we felt very pressured to buy they kept trying to sell different packages over and over.
they give you pool cards to trade in for towels but failed to mention they aren’t available after 7 even though the pool is open until 10
the food kitchen closes way to early at 8pm most resorts I’ve been to offer 24 hr and at the least until 11pm
we requested to checkout just a couple hours later than the 10am checkout which seems early as lost places offer it at 11 and were denied they told us we could use the facility and the shower but it was a public shower by the pool and we wanted a private shower to wash with soap before we left for our flight
they offered no maid service due to the length of our stay
they have a valet loop but no valet
