Very poor

Good location Nice lady

Television didn't have volume on the apps. Bed was hard and noisy. Shower had previous people's hair in it. Patio was not private at all.

Convenient, comfortable and well priced.

It was like staying in someone’s home with access to a kitchen, deck and garden. It was in walking distance of a shopping centre with restaurants. It was in a quiet but convenient part of town. The furnishing were pleasant and up to date.

The front door could be repainted. The road was a bit hard to find (make sure the satnav finds the right part if 16A Avenue).

If all you want is a room in a house, go for it. In my books, a hotel offers more & better value.

This is just a house that has been subdivided into individual bedrooms with keyed entries. Hotel prices without the amenities.

I'm not a fan of residential homes that have been converted into room rentals. Does not feel like a home and definitely not a BnB. Basic furnishings; cheap toiletries, etc. No charm.

We were happy with our stay at Center House and would book again!

The location was perfect as we were attending a basketball tournament at a school that was within one kilometre of Center House. The room was cozy and comfortable. We had our own private area outside as we had a two doors to access our room. We had access to the kitchen and dining room and could cook if we wanted to or put our food in the fridge. Center House is a home with four bedroom suites. It was my first time staying in this kind of accommodation and I liked it. There was a wonderful caretaker who came and went throughout the day and made sure that we had what we needed including fresh towels for the next day. We probably saved about $200.00 for our 3 night stay at Center House over staying at a local hotel. I would go there again.

It was quiet except when someone was using the bathroom in the morning to have a shower. Then, we could hear a person having a shower and coughing etcetera. This bathroom noise was loud but thankfully brief. Our furnace was noisy too but we had the option of closing a second door to shut out the noise. We didn't bother because we got used to it as the furnace wasn't on all of the time.

all in all a good spot with a kind host

host was very friendly and helpful location was great house was clean room was comfortable

two issues: parking is confusing and we got blocked in by another guest and couldn’t get out when we needed to in morning AND the heating in our bedroom was too hot… another guest had turned up the thermostat really high and cooked us! I awoke in the night in a sweat even with our window open! maybe place a sign to prevent people from turning it up or down and/or place a lock on it

Perfect for our stay in White Rock

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood in White Rock. A long walk or short drive to Marine Drive and all of the Oceanside restaurants/ shops. The queen room with a private bathroom and patio I to the backyard was lovely. An exceptionally comfy bed and quiet room allowed us a very restful sleep after a day strolling the beach and watching a movie on Netflix before we retired. Having use if the kitchen facilities was great for preparing a light breakfast and morning coffee.

Location was excellent for our purpose and parking was included. Restaurants were within a 10 - 15 minute walk.

Cable TV for news would have been appreciated.

Best accommodation we've been in

The surroundings from the furniture to the flower gardens and yard were exquisite. The kitchen facilities were top notch. The bed was very comfortable. We both felt it was the best accommodations we've ever had.

Can't think of a Single dissatisfaction except we didn't bother asking how to tune the tv.

Superb

The staff was very kind. The house had 4 rooms, but only 2 rooms for rent. And that day, the other room was empty, so we could use all the house comfortably. So it would be good for a family too. The house has wonderful gardens, only the season we were visiting was still cold and nor ready for flowers. But for summer, you would be able to have breakfast in the deck enjoying the garden.

If you don't have car, it will be a bit far to the ocean. But it takes only 6 min. to drive, so with a car, no problem.

A pleasant experience& would return without hesitation.

The whole guest house was very clean, Allison was friendly & available.Cash or Etransfer only for payment, but was not a problem.

Weather was crappy but Allison could not control that !

Good value for the price.

Nice house in a great location for us. We basically had the run of a whole house which has been nicely renovated. Beautiful artwork.

The bed was really squeeky (don't roll over) and bedding was only okay. Cleaning could also be improved somewhat.
