Excellent location. Charming, Victorian house. Beautiful room. Easy after hours check in when staff wasn't available.
No elevator for luggage, but thank goodness we were on the first floor and could roll our luggage up the ramp outside.

Longwood Inn is a lovely looking building in a great location. The staff had left our key in a lock box for late arrival and also had a key drop for early check out. We stayed in the self-contained apartment which had its own entrance at the rear and also its own private balcony overlooking the car park and next door play area. The room was refreshed daily and there was no limit on toiletries. If you are going to make your own meals there is a microwave, oven and full size fridge/freezer (which also makes ice) and a dishwasher. Beds were comfortable but not much space to walk around them. Cable TV is provided but a larger TV would be beneficial for watching sports. It only takes 20 mins to walk to Fenway Park and 10 minutes to the local shops and restaurants and is just a 20 minute taxi from main Boston and the airport. We would stay here again.
The air-con was great to have but very loud and if it is raining then the air-con from the bedroom above drips down. There is a mix and match amount of kitchen supplies (e.g. mugs but no glasses, pans but no baking trays). The kitchen cupboard doors are coming off in some places but they do close. We could not get the table lamps in the bedroom to work, even though they appeared to be plugged in. This room could do with an overall refresh as it is a bit tired now, but is very clean and perfectly habitable.

This is an absolute gem in the city. We were so happy to feel like we were in a home.
Also the staff was incredibly helpful and kind.

Exceptionally clean room and facilities. Location and free parking.
The mattress may be due for a replacement, but was not at all uncomfortable.

Quiet place
Out of office hour, difficult to communicate with the manager. It took a long time if we have any urgency to open the door.

location less than a mile to most things. off the main stretch but only a few steps away from it
needed a lounge chair in room

Beautiful old home in a quiet and safe neighborhood. close to everything.

The Inn is beautiful and very centrally located to shops and restaurants.
The room was clean and comfortable.
The kitchen was available for use.
The only issue we had was with the thermostat in our room. At first we could not move it up to a warmer temperature during the day. We were provided with a space heater, which worked fine. After the heating repair man came, I could not get the temperature to go down, so the room was uncomfortably warm.

A really good location, leafy suburban feel with lots of facilities nearby and downtown Boston accessible by subway (or walking)
Like all accommodation in Boston it seems so expensive. This is basically a really nice hostel, I’ve no issue with that. But some more affordable holiday rentals in Boston would be lovely- it’s such a great city.

The Victorian style of the haus and its proximity to the Gardner museum were the draw to me.
My request for a two hour advance /early check-in was granted without a fee.
I was not oriented on facilities available but I read the manual later so I got to know.
My bathroom was across the hallway (inside the room would have been preferred) but it's understandable since other guests got there first and it's an old facility.
8.0
The nostalgic ambiance.
Both our room and the terrace faces a beautiful lawn/field with birds singing in the morning.
A well-equipped shared kitchen
Our bathroom is outside our bedroom and sometimes there is a bad smell
5.0
I liked the location and the house house itself
the room was too small for 3 people, the AC was still in the window so it was quiet loud with the noise of the street and the plugs in the bathroom didn't work. There were only 2 towels for 3 people
