Lovely spot in Cambridge

Really friendly - staff was very helpful. Got there very early and was able to store my bags and work with the free wifi in a silent desk with no problem. Room was big and comfortable. Water in the shower was warm almost right away. Several towels and soap bars were provided without having to ask for more. Location is great! Was able to walk around and get to the T station quite easily. Have to say, the chairs in the front porch - VERY COMFY, specially if you’ve been out walking most of the day! Would definitely want to come back.

Found a hair (not mine) in the room, but other that that, very clean

Cosy, comfortable stay

Cosy rooms, efficient staff, excellent location. They don't provide food but have a communal space where you can make coffee and tea.

Basic breakfast would be a good addition.

We suffered 14 nights in this hotel.

I don't like anything there, and won't go back.

1. The poor quality of the showerhead, there was barely any water coming out. We had to purchase a showerhead to fix the problem ourselves. 2. The bottom of the toilet leaked water and pooled onto the floor after flashing. 3. There was no clock or phone in the room. 4. Daily room service was not performed.

Overall a good stay, besides lacking a few things inside the room.

The room and inn were very clean and well-kept, with a nice atmosphere. I liked how convenient the location was for public transportation since it was a fairly quick walk to Harvard Square and the T station. I appreciated that you could get drinking water from the breakfast room.

Not all amenities and services listed here were not available. There was no phone, hair conditioner, or body wash/bars available, only conditioning shampoo and facial bars. There was no wake-up call service, and I did not know breakfast was not offered until after I booked my stay.

Superb

The room and furniture are outdated, but functional and clean. It's like going to your grandma's house but without any dust smell nor old bedsheets. Room service happens every other day, and is amazingly flexible and efficient. Our bathroom was big (room 301) compared to what I've read in other's comment. We haven't heard our neighbors. There is a corner to make coffee or tea on the ground floor, as well as a common kitchen in the basement. No breakfast but a fridge in the room + common equipment compensates.

Not much. For 100$/night in such an amazing location, we felt lucky to find it. Maybe more details about the common kitchen/area at check-in would have been good ? But otherwise the staff is perfect.

location was fantastic for visiting Havard Uni & a metro station in walking distance. The staff were exceptional in being friendly & helping us with our needs. The accommodation was quiet & the bed was comfy.

convenient, affordable. don’t expect luxury but it’s homey and nice.

location, parking and the price. it was a great value. the other guests were super friendly too. I love that it’s in a historic building. it’s a beautiful neighborhood!

Pleasant

Very beautiful building with a lot of cozy antique/vintage elements to it! It looks like it would be haunted; unfortunately, it isn't. In all seriousness though, the location is PERFECT for walkability! Especially if you intend on visiting Harvard or spending most of your time in Harvard Square. The porch is nice for sitting, and there is an additional outdoor space with a sitting area as well. The layout of the room was really nice, too.

The walls are paper thin. The last night of my stay, I head nothing but very loud "romance" all night. It made it difficult to sleep before traveling back home. Also, the beds are very firm and stiff as well as creaky...almost like the floors are. Not uncomfortable in my opinion, but I know many people prefer softer beds. The room service was a bit odd. They only replaced towels and did not take out the trash. Also, when I first got into the room, I noticed a woman's hair tie was on the floor. And after I had been gone one day, I returned to find some mysterious orange stuff on my toiletries bag. I do not have any orange soaps or products of any kind, and it wasn't there when I left, so I literally have no idea about that. I just wiped it up and ignored it, and it ultimately wasn't a big deal. But it was weird though.
