Didn’t have my reservation from booking.com and I had to pay full price. So paid the booking.com price and the hotel fee. To say the staff didn’t help was an understatement. I had a confirmation number and everything, they told me it wasn’t their problem.

Not much.
The room was not very clean. Refrigerator did not work properly, the door did not close all the way.
I specifically asked for a room close to elevator. Wife has MD. the room could not have been any further from the elevator. She could barely make it. Had to take a short rest to and from the room. Had to take extra pain medication due to the long walk.

Front desk staff polite and kind. Breakfast was delicious with great selection.
Smell of chlorine burned your eyes when you walked in. Hotel is run-down and not what we expected from Embassy. Under construction. Pool is way smaller than it appears online, was WAY overcrowded to the point we couldn’t move, and it’s been 2 weeks and the chlorine smell has finally faded from our hair. People running through halls all night.

The staff was amazing, and the place was clean and comfortable.
There wasn't a single thing that we didn't like.

The rooms are large, and in general there is plenty of space in the hotel. The breakfast hours were useful, and there was a reasonably good selection of food. We mainly booked because we needed to stay in Livonia and wanted some specific facilities, which unfortunately were not as expected.
The staff were all generally pleasant and tried to help, though they were clearly struggling as there did not appear to be enough staff for such a large hotel.
(1) Website says 24hr room service is available. We specifically looked for this because we wanted to be able to have dinners together in our own room after putting baby to bed, and because we had a second room for a guest who was arriving late night. We were told that this hadn't been in place "for months" due to COVID restrictions, but this was not mentioned anywhere on the Hilton site or on booking.com.
(2) The Hilton website, the policies listed on booking.com, and a sign in the hotel's own reception area said that there would not be parties in public areas of the hotel, and that noise should be kept to reasonable levels. During our stay, there were two loud/late parties, in the open atrium under the guest rooms, i.e., not in a conference room. The second one was a very large corporate event, with microphone speeches/DJ, and drunk people wandering around the public areas/lobby. We could hear every word in our room and could not get our baby to sleep. We were given no notice either on booking or on arrival, and we would have obtained an alternative hotel for those days had we been informed. We were just told to "raise it with corporate head office" when we reported the issue to reception.
(3) Beware that the kitchenette has literally nothing supplied, not even a single teaspoon, cup, bowl etc., so we had to buy items to use during our stay, which was really unhelpful. The only thing supplied is plastic or paper cups and food from bar was given in polysterene boxes (which of course we would not use in a microwave and created unnecessary waste). There was no plug, drying rack or washing up bowl for the sink. The bar tender did at least let us borrow a glass and cup.
(4) The temperature in the rooms was inconsistent - boiling living room, freezing bedroom. To be fair we did not bother reporting this because it seemed so unlikely that anything could/would be done.
