The front desk ladies were very helpful and welcoming.
The cooks are great, but the food was cross contaminated with pork at the grill. The eggs had bacon in them at the bar. I was disappointed that there was no turkey sausage or bacon. Other than that it's a great place to enjoy a relaxing welcoming atmosphere.

Not much, our room 413 was dated and needing attention and was not representative of the images on the website.
Fire alarm hanging from ceiling. Crack in sink. Old dated room with many repairs needed. For $250 a night it was a total rip off.

Bartender
The carpeting and furnishings in my room held an odor. We bought air freshener but it was still bad.

Site was easy to find from the airport. Helpful handouts for local eating and attractions in the area. Breakfast was easy and healthy. The soaps and towels in the bathroom were truly spa quality, thick towels, everything top notch. It was very quiet; A++ on the soundproofing of the room. Great variety of pillows, perfect! I loved the auto on nightlight in the bathroom. I am older and needed it. Simple, but very much saying you care about your customer. I also loved getting a text from the front desk asking me how my stay was going (Ryan Cantrell, reaching out). A very quick and easy way to say it again, "We care about how you feel when you are here. What can we do to help you smile?" The ice machine ice was crystal clear and the water is high quality. To be especially and highly commended: Stephanie Farwell, who asked me my name (remembered each time I met her again) and helped me in the dining area. I was trying to find where to get water. Stephanie overheard me (in other words, I hadn't asked her) with another employee and she immediately stepped over and showed me. I was of course a little embarrassed that I hadn't been able to see it...but she set me at such ease, I was impressed. She asked me why I was in St. Louis and expressed a great deal of interest. Always greeted me with a smile. She is at the top of her game and a true ambassador for your brand, a real keeper. Nick Robinson met me in the elevator one day and I was loaded down with items for the trash bin. He just reached out and helped me and that was just outstanding. He is an Engineer and did not need to do that. What a great team. Also Stacy at the front desk, everyone....just incredibly friendly and always smiling and sending that message: We care about out guests.
I wish there had been a Gideon's Bible, or any Bible for that matter available in the room. Although there was signage in the hall for locating the ice and vending machines, it would be a simple, easy thing to have a map of its location inside the door of the room instead of having to search it out. Simple fix. Drapes over the air conditioning vent interfered with the air flow unless the drapes were pulled back, which eliminated privacy in the room. A simple plastic vent director over the air vent would allow the drapes to be closed but still cool the room. These are not expensive and effectively direct the flow of air. Also, if a person is trying to cool the room, it will take much longer and use more $$$$$ if the drapes are left closed over the vent. The air goes up between the drape and the window glass, not in the room where you need it. Waste of money there. There just isn't anything else I can think of and I stayed for three days.... this place is just terrific.

The staff with the exception of a few persons was kinda rude. When you say hello they don't really speak back. The room had a broken refrigerator, the room smelled funny. No breakfast ready on the 4th of July etc.

Bed was comfortable and the mattress in the pull out sofa was clean.
They were out of infant cribs despite us booking in advance and asking for one in advance so we had to buy one and leave it at the hotel.
The shuttle to the airport was 10 minutes late AND overbooked so we had to wait for a second one which was an additional 11 minutes late. Front desk employee was snarky when a man commented on him possibly missing his flight.
