the setting and nostalgia were very unique. Nothing like it.

I have the opportunity to stay at this location for my sororities national convention. It was the perfect location to be close to the convention center. The facility was unique because they were rooms where old train cars had been converted and that was very unique to see. My accommodations were fantastic as far as room availability at all.
Their system for checking you in and out of a room is very old. And someone else’s member number was placed on my room so my bill had someone else’s name someone else’s credit card information. It was a big mess and then I was double charged for my room and they could never figure out the rate and it was horrible. From that standpoint. They just need a better, a newer, a more updated system for checking in guest note that Was major. We were there for a conference so the hotel staff did not prepare themselves for the large group. They had an area that they use in the morning for their breakfast so instead of opening that area up in the evening so that the guest staying at the hotel could at least go in and sit down and wait to be served they had a hostess Working upfront who was as rude as she could be and she was just straight up nasty and that was a big turn off because she was sending people away. She was just horrible. Cost a little area that they did have to eat in in the evening wasn’t that large so after say about 30 of us Enter that little area there was no room for anyone else. It was horrible, but they were not prepared. And on top of that they must’ve just hired waiters that day that we were there and we were there for a total of eight days because they never do what was on the menu so that was off horrible experience

Location was very central.
Very dated rooms, bed wasnt that comfortable and the breakfast offered very limited healthy options (i.e. none!)

The bldg was unique and the location was great
Front desk service was slow and the billing for our stay was incorrect.

it was a beautiful hotel. First time there.
The AC!!! when we were in bed, everytime the AC kicked on, it blew right in our faces. we had to put a pillow over our face to keep it from hitting us. It woke us up EVERYTIME it turned on. there was no way to move the direction of the air so we turned it off and so we were HOT all night!
Also, there was no fan in the restroom and it became really hot in there when showering

We thought we were promised a train room and did not receive one. The receptionist at front desk was not friendly nor accommodating….

Staff were welcoming, room was clean.
There was a lot of construction around so it was a little empty at night. Staff did not alert me that there was a skywalk to the convention center.

Parking horrible no garage close because pan am plaza being torn down. Only option is valet parking. Long line to valet at check in only 2 staff working. Long line to get car at check out inky 2 staff working would have taken 45 minutes to get car. He allowed us to get own car as it was 1 block away. Would suggest if this is new norm 5-6 vallet staff at peak times to keep customers happy.

Staff was so friendly and the breakfast was delicious.
Our room had large pieces of peeling wallpaper and what looked like spilled beer or sticky champagne over the desk. The bed was super comfy but the rest just seemed outdated.

The historical part. I enjoyed this hotel because of the train. It was quiet.
The Location of the Hotel, the slow check in time, the fact that there was only 1 ice machine working in the entire building, filtered water was not easily accessible. The fact the breakfast was not free to all guests.

One of a kind hotel.
I couldn't stay longer.

The food was great and had a convenient location close to Lucas Oil Stadium. Friendly and accommodating front of house and restaurant staff.
Poor housekeeping with little attention to the cleanliness of the rooms. Had to switch rooms several times due to dusty, dirty, unswept, with little attention paid to details when cleaning the rooms.
For example, coffee maker in the room looked unsanitary to use in any of the three rooms and the small refrigerator did not work in any room. The tub didn't drain properly at all without a few inches of water sitting in there.
There were never any towels at the pool for use and had to bring them from the room. When they did restock towels, it would only be enough for the next 15 minutes before they were gone.
