Location staffs are nice at the lobby.
Reserved the rooms for 4. Price with breakfast to only learn that breakfast is for 2 only. But it’s r written anywhere and they claimed it isn’t their problem it is mine with booking and was forced to pay for the other 2 guests breakfast. Woke up by extremely loud construction noise at 7:30am. Who does that? And when mentioned at the lobby the respond was “oh yeah I don’t know why they do that… sorry” euh so I guess for those that need a natural loud wake up call that you can’t booze away then go ahead if not inform yourself if the construction is still going on and to have a room wayyyyyy somewhere far from it.

Breakfast was amazing, and the premises were super nice and clean!
Everything was great, but the parking lot could use a little more lighting at night.

location
loud party and the only room offered was close to the event.
the room windows were facing the inside of the hotel and hotels workers were not sensitive to it and were speaking early morning outside the window.

The carpet in the rooms appeared dated but the rooms were nice and comfortable.

The hotel had a nice ambience.
The room was not overly clean, there were stains in the bathroom and hair. The carpet in the room was stained and all in all the room did not feel relaxing.

This is my second visit to Crowne Plaza. Each time I’ve stayed here the staff was always friendly and accommodating. Everyone greeted me with a smile. I was especially impressed with Heather H she was there in the restaurant on Sunday morning Mother’s Day. she was extremely pleasant and made we feel valued when I went in for my breakfast. Because of the outstanding service I wouldn’t want to stay any place else.

Breakfast in general was good but the freshly made omlettes with your choice of filling made by the fabulous chef were amazing! Rooms size and bathroom lovely and the beds and pillows were so comfortable never slept so well!
After breakfast there was nothing available - no coffee etc and the bar did not open untiol after 4 pm and closed early. There is no room service either.

Location, easy access to the highway, and the price was reasonable for 1 night stay. The front desk staff were very friendly.
The rooms are outdated and very small. The toilet is extremely low and uncomfortable if you're over 5'4".

convenient location , comfortable bed
you had to reach behind you and under the sink for the toilet paper- awkward. Some lights in the bathroom didn’t work. There were water stains on the ceiling.

The shower head was filthy and water only came out of 3 of the holes. I was so disgusted I just showered when I left the hotel! I spoke to the overwhelmed front desk attendant, and all she said was ok and thanks for the information.

A dog kept barking all through the night and kept us up. Staff were unhelpful in resolving the issue and further unable to offer any compensation, even though other guests were compensated for this occurence.

The suite after the comfort and cleanliness issues were fixed after the first room we were in
When we went to our room. It wasn't what we expected for the price. The carpet had stains all over. Especially in 1 spot where it looked like a big poop stain. After complaining and asking for my money back. Our room was changed to an upgrade. Then 1/2 the price was taken off our stay. We felt so much more comfortable. Only bad thing is we heard the elevator all night.

The bed and the business center had a free printer. Two of the front desk clerks and the housekeeper were very helpful, although the housekeeper could not speak english well.
The bathroom is spacious. The beds comfortable.
The first female front desk clerk could not speak english well and was unable to understand because of her accent and refusal to speak up. I am slightly hard of hearing and told her so twice. I was assigned to a room that had been used and remained untouched by housekeeping requiring me to return to the front desk with all my belongings and await assignment of a new room. The desk clerk never asked for my IHG rewards number and when I voluntarily provided it, I was not advised me of any IHG perks or benefits at the Crowne Plaza. I discovered that I missed an opportunity to enjoy the company and speaking with others and imbibing in hors d'oeuvres and a beer.
You must stand or reach into freezing water in the shower to turn it on.
There are no pens or paper in the room to make notes or jot down information.
There is no free breakfast despite paying more for a room than any other hotel/motel in the area.
I had a friend who frequently works in Rockland County that visited me at the hotel. She has decided to cross the Thruway and stay at Doubletree after hearing of my experience. You lost a minimum of 48 nights per year without her as a continuing customer.

The overall the hotel was great
the confusion created regarding the weight scale that made me go again at the 2nd floor with a big luggage which make me think that the administration didn't knew if they have a scale or they didn' t want me to use the scale
