Everything about our stay was very good.
Proximity to everything.

The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable
The towel hangers weren't attached to thr wall, just stuck in
Half the outlets beside the bed didn't work. The shower head did not work properly. The lady at the check in was very rude and combative while trying to figure out my confirmation number. And to park at the hotel I am paying for, I also had a parking fee.

Location
We were placed in a handicap room which we DID NOT ask for. We are tall people and the bed was to our shins and both of our backs hurt the next morning. The shower was also sideways and low because it was for handicap.

OMG! The breakfast was delicious. The breakfast staff member was very nice, professional and helpful in my decision making process on what to eat for breakfast. The eggs were prepared with perfection, fruit and veggies were fresh.
My television and cable did not work properly. The front desk clerk did her best to accommodate me, were unsuccessful. I was unable to to watch any movies and/or television at all.. What can Courtyard do to compensate the inconvenience?

Entire hotel and particularly staff Crystal
Booking.com basic rate was 143 (176.25 total) when I reserved the room and somehow it changed to basic rate 209 (246.52). I didn't notice change until we arrived home. I called Marriot & they said I have to call hotel directly & speak with Mary. I've repeatedly called this hotel but the point of contact is always busy in meetings and will not return my requests to return my calls nor reply to voice messages requesting a call back either.

All was good, no issues with staff or comfort of the room.
So I was awaken at 1am by the slaming of the neighbor's room door. They were a bunch of kids just messing around with kids in other rooms down the hall. This lasted until 3:30am. Kids being kids, my issue isn't with the kids. The hotel should invest in softeners for doors so that they don't make the noise they make when they shut.

My stay involved my 20 year old son with Autism. We were asked to leave the hotel on the 8th day of our stay. I had planned to stay 20 days until my home was ready for move in.
My son is a very sweet young man. He is raised with love, compassion and a unique God filled spirit. He asked the housekeeper for a hug one day while getting towels.
I know totally in appropriate (that's Autism). This was a teachable moment. Not a moment to exclude and kick us out. The next day the general manager asked us to leave the facility.
They made it seem as if my son was harassing and asking the housekeeper for kisses.
This was not the case and no-one will ever make my son appear to be this monster he isn't. There was also a language barrier with housekeeping.
Please if you have a special need child and don't keep them in a closet...this is not the facility for you.
They have no capacity to understand the challenged community, the excluded community, and the impaired community.
The way my son was treated

The breakfast was very good. We liked the room very much. Comfortable and well appointed.
We have no complaints about our stay.
4.0
The room and the location. Everything was as expected.
Breakfast service. It was only 1 person getting orders and preparing them. It was not worth it. I would say it should be better to include a buffet with a couple of items, but not this service. One day I had to wait more than 20 minutes for the person to get my order and another 10 or so to get in on the table, and we have to consider it was not cheap.

It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and it was so quiet. This is exactly what I needed after a long day at work and a very early morning the next day to go back to work.
I cannot think of anything

Comfortable room, nice staff
All good

The rooms are good and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is in walking distance of restaurants and close to highway 20, so you can easily go anywhere.
The hotel could do with refurbishment. It is showing it’s age. The shower is good, but having an old fashioned shower curtain that likes to wrap around you when it has the opportunity is not acceptible these days. however my biggest gripe is that the hotel restaurant is fully understaffed. They have one girl that had to take breakfast orders, go in the kitchen to make it and then serve it. So when she was in the kitchen cooking, you couldn’t even get coffee. If there would be 20 people for breakfast it would take more than an hour to get anything. And most tables in the bar/breakfast area were sticky. For >$200 dollar per night this is not ok.
