A perfectly suitable base for Hocking Hills! 🏕

The hotel is perfectly placed. It has easy access to nearby stores and restaurants while also allowing easy passage to where we wanted to go for the weekend! The staff were all lovely and nice! We had fun in the indoor pool, and although we didn't interact with it, we appreciated the small corner of purchasable conveniences such as Tylenol and snacks.

The main problems we encountered all related to sleeping. One downside we had was that the beds were hardly comfy. I also had to constantly adjust the blinds to block the parking lot lights shining into our room.

Lovely place, close to everything you need to get to.

Very clean, comfy beds, great breakfasts and staff was very helpful.

Only negative is having that pool right in the lobby basically because it’s so hot to have to go through there, and I feel bad for the front desk workers LOL..otherwise it’s great!

Over 300 dollars a night was a bit extravagant but it was our Anniversary.

We loved the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The pool was awesome. The breakfast was delicious.

An exhaust fan in the bathroom is always good. But that is all.

I appreciated the healthy choices for breakfast.

I would’ve like a mattress pad because nothing protecting the mattress so I’m sure it wasn’t totally clean. Refrigerator was hard to open and started to come out.

Could use some updates

Only reason I gave it a 7 is because some of the room amenities needed to be updated. The carpet was old and a brown pattern that looked like it was 20 years old. Also, the worst part was the toilet was broken and leaned when you sat on it then jiggled. Beds were comfortable for a family of 4 but could tell they could be replaced soon because we sank into them. Breakfast was excellent and seemed like a lot of families used the pool, we just didn't have time. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere and across from a trailer park so it was a little out of the way. Overall, better than expected.

The room was very spacious and clean, loved all the room on the bathroom counter.

Good location to go to the Hocking Hills State Park.

The receptionist was in the back room, I had to ring the bell each time to have her come out to the front desk.

It was a little dated. Our first room was on the first floor. Water was dropping from the ceiling above us (over the toilet). Floor around our toilet was wet. My husband went to the front desk and had no problem switching rooms. Different topic - it would be nice to have in the room a channel guide for the tv

The breakfast was AMAZING!! The pool area looked very nice. We were just staying until our cabin was ready, so we did not get to utilize it.

Good enough. Breakfast is a great way to start the day. We weren’t there to hang out at the hotel.

Great breakfast. Breakfast attendant (Gus) was excellent. Very nice, accommodating staff. Pool was nice.

The hotel is a little “tired”. But maybe to be expected for a pet friendly hotel.
