The beds are super comfortable - the location was ideal for where we were going. The breakfast was quite good and the staff at check in were fantastic.

Our first room at check in we found the fridge didn't work and there was a half eaten pizza crust behind the fridge we found when trying to troubleshoot the fridge. The staff was amazing and upgraded our room. The hotel is more worn out than I expected from the photos. We stayed one night and check out is 11am so at about 9am we went out to a store and came back around 10 to grab our stuff and checkout. We found that we had left the do not disturb sign on when we left around 9am and on our return it was no longer posted on the door and the cleaning staff had entered our room, taken all the towels from the bathroom and then I think realized our stuff was still there so we hadn't checked out yet and put the towels on the bed and left. I spoke to the manager on our way out and they just said that didn't meet their standards and they would speak to the staff. Also when we went to shower there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bottles provided that were attached to the wall - not something you usually check until in the shower. For the cost per night I expect more from the hotel.

Location and cleanliness.

Went in to use the pool around 9pm and it was packed with about 15 teenagers with no parent in sight, playing loud music like it was their own personal pool party. Couldn’t swim in peace if you tried. And the front desk girl admitted that they probably weren’t all guests, but did nothing about it. I suspect they were her friends.

Breakfast was okay. Sausage was like cardboard. The facilities in the room were poor. Basically a kitchen table with kitchen chairs and an old lamp,, considering I spent the night before in a holiday inn express in Binghamton and it was far superior and much cheaper

The people staying next door were fighting at 4 in the morning. They continued outside. No response from the staff.

The room was clean. The beds were relatively comfortable. The indoor pool was small, but adequately warm and clean.

The very first time we went up the elevator, it sounded like a death trap. It became a joke among guests every time we had to use it. The fire alarm went off at 1:30am, and nobody knew if it was a legit alarm. The only communication we received from any hotel staff was the guy offering me a bottle of water between his cigarette drags when I went downstairs. We have two kids who were woken up in the middle of the night, and there was no effort to make it right. When we complained the next morning, the person at the desk just told us it wasn't his fault the alarm went off. We went to breakfast, and there was a blue post-it on the pancake machine saying that it wasn't available. My wife asked the woman if it would be working at any point today, and she just responded with an attitude and said, "No. See the sign?" Then my wife tried to use the toaster and that doesn't work. The same woman comes out, rolls her eyes and can't get it working either. She brings the toaster into the back room, slams it down and brings out a different toaster that has a broken lever. Neither side of THAT toaster worked either. Needless to say, we didn't bother telling the woman at that point.

clean not a high traffic area. near the Erie Canal trails so plenty of walking opportunities

the breakfast wasn’t the best. the food wasn’t hot and it was over too early. so I didn’t eat there.

Easy to get to

very loud. could hear a party going on in the pool area from the second floor after 10pm. The people next door sounded like they were coming through the walls.
