Family vacation

It was the perfect family trip for our kids first time in Monterey!

I like how everything that we wanted to do were close by such as the San Carlos beach even the 7 eleven.

From the direction to the hotel the parking was located in the back which I didn’t realized and had to drive in circles for a few minutes but the parking wasn’t so bad once we found it.

Too good to be true

Small bathroom small room. Pictures were oversold. Outside was just small dirt pach. Holes in ceiling and wall. What holes that were patched were poorly done.

Wouldn’t stay here again as it wasn’t worth the price paid.

The location is great.

The fireplace in the room is just for looks and is not functional. The bed had a big dip in the middle of it and the screen in the sliding patio door has big rips in it and doesn’t slid well.

The location was perfect for our stay! It was super close to the beach and the aquarium was a quick walk from our hotel! The staff was very nice and welcoming, I will be staying here again :)

The room was clean, comfortable, convenient to all I wanted to see and do.

Within comfortable walking distance of aquarium, beach, shops & restaurants. Free shuttle stop on corner of property. Free parking with some spots covered. Very clean inside & out. Some rooms have small balcony . One block from beach.

if you’re looking for a one star, this is the place

we walked into the room. It smell like mold. The fireplace was ridiculous. The screen to the small balcony did not open. It was broken and my husband had to fix it. The chair in the room was torn shouldn’t have been in the room. The bed was tilting towards the head of the bed. It felt like we were sleeping on a boxspring terrible mattress, our view was of another building. A man was looking at our room. I do not recommend this property probably a one star.

Relaxing and private in the end room on top floor. Liked being next to an entrance, like it was our private entrance. lo

Room with fireplace and water view was cozy. Nice and quiet, could hear no outside noise at all. perfect location, too. Easy to get to Cannery Row, aquarium, Pacific Grove, and Carmel. Great stay! (Filtered water station is a nice touch, btw)

Can’t think of anything. Maybe offer continental breakfast? Oh, coffee maker didn’t work right, even after swapping it out. just kind of cheapo.

A good place to stay for the price.

Cannery Row Inn was advertised as only being a 2-star hotel, so my expectations were low - I chose it for its location (near my friend's home). While the property is not posh, the room was large, very clean, and well appointed. The room had a partial ocean view, which was very visible when sitting on the balcony. The location was great - 20 minute walk to Cannery Row, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The fireplace that "lights up" is laughable. The vending machines were out of order, so there truly were no amenities.

In the middle of cannary row, and the wharf. Great location!

Power was out when we arrived, decided to stay anyway. Luckily, the power came on a few hours later. The only upset was, I booked my room at the same time as family members, and I was charged $50 more than them. Unsure as why, I let the staff know, I’m still waiting for a response.

Good

The location near the water, Cannery Row (which is really a ‘tourist trap’, but it is what it is), and the bike/pedestrian path is great. The room was spacious and clean.

It’s definitely a step down from other hotels in the area, but if you’re looking for a good price and down mind the motel feel (not a hip, modern motel feel) it’s fine.

Had a great stay due to activities while there, but found it difficult to rest at night due to bed.

We have stayed at this location several times before. Nice location near beach, friendly staff, easy check in and check out.

We were given a room for handicap or person in a wheel chair. The bed was very low and the mattress was overly broken down towards in the middle. My wife and I struggle to sleep for three nights.

Great location! Especially if you plan on doing any diving or spending time on the beach.

Location! Easy walk to the beach and shops. Super friendly staff!

located within a short walk to the water/Monterey Bay. Near Cannery Row and Aquarium. Clean, Quiet, free parking, Cute intimate restaurants within walking distance. Paved tree lined walking and bike path that follows along the rear of motel to Cannery Row and beyond. Good price compared to other accommodations. Not fancy but perfect for the traveler who's mainly in the area to spend time at tourist's attractions and local beaches.

Very Satisfied with Cannery Row Inn :)
