Very good location, but needs some minor maintenance

Love the location, right across from the beach. Walking distance to entertainment and shopping

Needs repairs and upgrades. Shower rod hanging out of the wall, bar of soap from previous guest left in the shower

Enjoyable, fun, and affordable

I stayed here many times enjoying the overall experience very much when I visit this quaint Florida east coast beach town. Hotel is a few blocks from the center of town and across the street from the beach.

Used to love The Topaz, but this will be our last stay here.

Love the location!

Owners have let everything go. Beds and pillows are awful. Our tub dripped all night. Our dead lock didn’t work.

Great location. Clean rooms. Questionable guests.

Location was amazing.

First night there a man was arrested in the pool area for hitting on minor children. No longer felt safe. The hotel could be so nice if they'd just touch it up. Some paint. New wood in areas. It wouldn't take much to bring it back to life.

We stayed in the old mansion part of the hotel. The room was large, charming abd had a private bakony with an incredible view.

The room was either too hot or too cold. The heat/air unit was very loud so it webt off and on all night so sleep was very interrupted by noise or lack of. Good news is...i was awake to watch the sun rise!

ocean view, close to the beach there is a great restaurant there , service great

too noisy with all the bikes AND roaches in the room , I signaled it to the front desk . I had to sleep with the lights on

the location is great but that’s about all the positive.

run down, broken fixtures, unfortunately bug and roach infested rooms. i have never seem anything like this. roaches crawling on walls and even on beds. had to clean the toilet, the previous guests “dirt” was still on the toilet seat. very disappointed .an overpriced motel during bike week. in my own words: disgusted by the cleanliness.

A good basic place to stay.

Beautiful view of the ocean with the A1A highway between that runs to Daytona. The staff is accommodating, very friendly. This is a basic room with a good restaurant for lunch and dinner.

The weather was perfect, the staff was awesome and friendly.

The beach views are the best.

The odor of the room was very off putting. Kept the doors open when we could. I believe the culprit is the carpet.

This is my #1 choice of places to stay. In our transition of hardship they are more than accommodating. Any needs or issues is resolved quickly. We've received nothing less in customer service and satisfaction. Location is great. Close to work, shopping and activities for the kids.

In the literally hundreds of hotels I’ve ever stayed in, this was the worst and the only one I’ve felt the need to revie

The location across the street from Flagler Beach.

The room with 2 beds was in poor condition. There was paint pealing on walls and doors, the condition of the room was one of the worst I have ever experienced. A extremely bright light over each bed made it difficult to relax. Housekeeping condition was deplorable with a high clump of black hair in the shower which was discovered late in the night as we were ready for a shower. We could not wait to leave and also expressed comments about my dissatisfaction with the front desk clerk. Never stay there again!

it will always be a place I will go I just wish they would invest alittle extra to get some of the issues fixed. it’s a

the location and the nostalgia because my family has been coming here for years , 25 plus years

it seems like the rooms have gone downhill. they got rid of some of the antique aspects of the upstairs rooms in the main house as well as closing in the shower window so it’s very dark in there now.

This is a beach front hotel , within a walking area to a few different restaurants/bars. Kept clean. The room was spacious, had a fridge and a microwave.

This is an older hotel and could do with some renovations to give it a newer, refreshed look and feel. It would also be nice if there was a thicker cover on beds instead of a single, thin sheet (I was cold at night). Finally, the hotel lists the office/check-in time till 6pm. This can be stressful if you are travelling long distance. With that said, we were not sure that we would make it, so we phoned and the staff was accommodating and extended the time till 7pm.

The dirtiest hotel on the beach - mold everywhere.

The location is great.

I have traveled a lot all over the world and this hotel was by far worst accommodation. The hotel smells and very worn down. Our room had mold all over. The floor and surfaces felt always moist. Towels had stains and smelled. The balcony door was broken and couldn’t open. The bathroom applianced were falling off the wall. The bathtub was clogged. Paint was chipping. Everything felt dirty. Do yourself a favor and find another place. I was told great stories of this place from years ago but unfortunately it got worn down and not being taken care of.
